The thing about VAR is that it's not really begin used to overrule any penalty decisions, (in the PL anyway). All I see it as is a glorified linesman. Liverpool were supposed to be found out once VAR came in but they've adapted their game because of it by playing a high line and trusting VAR to spot who might be offside if a goal is scored.

Because if they pick up a suspension it's an opportunity for some well needed rest.
