So Barca still owe dippers 84 million on the Coutinho deal so it begs the question how have they done so much after receiving so little of the fee, after all they have spent it 10 times over !
Think dippers have actually been paid the money is owed to a third party.

A Littlewoods fan at work tried to argue that we were never ten points behind last season.

"It would have been ten if we’d beaten you."

"No, I’m talking about another time. Admittedly, we had a game in hand; the evening kick-off, but before we kicked off, you were ten points ahead."

He said no more.

You might also point out to your colleague when the media love-in begins if they equal our record of 18 consecutive Premier League wins on the bounce when they play The Red Filth in a week or so, that

(a) City achieved the record in the same season, playing 6 Champions League and 3 League Cup games in the same period, racking up 27 games in 17 weeks (an average of 1.6 games a week at the height of the season)

(b) his/her team will have equalled this over 32 weeks, with a 2 week break between the last game of the Premier season and the Champions League Final, followed by a 12 week summer break between seasons (an average of 0.8 games per week)

I am available for children’s parties and bar-mitzvahs and so on, by the way..

Oh and by the way (2), to all our fellow Blues throwing in the towel and giving the title to The Scouse Filth on other BlueMoon boards after Sunday’s result.. We never give in until it’s over. We never give in. Ever.

It would help me if I had the right season :+)

The only blessing I can take is that Littlewoods will win the PL title long before the end of the season, and by the time it get’s to the end of the season, nobody will be arsed apart from Liverpool fans, their ex-pro pundits, and the media. A bit like when City romped it a couple of season’s ago.

One thing the Rags and Littlewoods will never have over us, is that City denied both of them the PL title on the last day of the season, and they can never erase that piece of football history. :-)

I See the reward for throwing it in your own net against the dippers on the back of a bang average u21 tournament in summer is a senior call up. Playing for the rags and aiding the dipper cause really does do your international prospects the world of good.

have faith blues,
not over yet.
they will have a down turn before end of season.
they are not as good as they were last season
get our defence right and we're still in this.

A couple of injuries would totally change their dynamics, but none of them ever seem to pick up any knocks whatsoever and they never have to worry about suspensions as none of their players ever get booked.
