Tired sigh. Where exactly did I say that?
Your ability to misinterpret, twist words and argue where no argument is needed is unbounded.

I was simply agreeing with @blueinsa that wether we leave or wether we stay there will be significant damage to the UK.
I believe there will be more damage if we leave. He believes there will be more damage if we stay.
I think we both respect each others position? (@blueinsa ). Now what the fuck is your beef? Or am I confused again? Like yesterday?

Apart from, the damage when we leave will be real, tangible and will seriously affect people's lives.

The damage, should we somehow remain, would be some already angry folk continuing to be angry, and more hollow rhetoric.

But, it is indeed what the people voted for, so that is what will be.

Brexit is undoubtedly very bad for Ireland but just to be clear, the UK being trapped inside the EU is not because of the risks to the GFA but because of what will be presented as unworkable adaptations required for the continued operation of EU single market. These objections are of course completely fake, the reality is they are just a pretext for EU/Irish determination to stop Brexit any way they can. If a No Deal does actually happen (which I think is highly unlikely) the EU will have no hesitation in setting up very similar fiscal border arrangements to the ones it has rejected and which maintain its legal integrity. The Irish government will then declare, quite truthfully, it has fully met its Belfast treaty obligations and the frontier is soft. Such is the duplicity in play throughout this sorry saga.
Simple as.

No deal is off the table but only because we went back with the very real threat of it.

Very promising news coming from todays meeting which will be of huge relief to Varadkar, Johnson and every single one of us.

I am not so confident of a deal being in sight. Of course, a deal may be agreed eventually but I don't trust the briefings cumming (see what I did there? :) ) out of No10.

Understandable scepticism but on this occasion I think even Boris is being a good boy because he knows he has to.

Resolution seeking upgrade of EU counter-disinformation unit nevertheless passes easily

The poll before the vote had a stronger remain than that.

Were the same people interviewed? If not, why should it lead to the same conclusion? It's not a strong argument.

If you look at the many polls that have taken place since the referendum, those wanting to remain appears to have increased, although marginally. It should also be noted that comparisons post referendum now enable pollsters to compare how respondents voted and how they intend to vote.

There is a margin of error for such polls. Taking that into account, a second ref could be very close. Far from me though to say who would win. However, I am confident that the data will now be more reliable, not only due to being to make comparisons but also the pollsters are now more aware of the likely bias in such research post ref.

Strangely quiet this thread given the positive news?

Would have been numerous pages had the talks not gone well in my opinion.

It’s looking more positive with the language being said hopefully avoid no deal, making the EU look at what could happen if they let the clock to run down has hopefully banged everyone’s head together. Thought this had the potential to be done at the 11th hour fingers crossed.
