So one of the stumbling blocks is France are not happy with us leaving without restrictions upon us because they are worried we will became an attractive economic powerhouse on its doorstop and it does not want that!!!

What the fuck , I thought we were going to be fucked economically if we left, but actually the French are worried we will be too powerful economically ?

Oh for gods sake. It’s called a level playing field. Consumer standards. Worker protections...ah forget it. Live in a fucking hovel. Not my problem.

No that’s not what they are saying it’s about controlling our corporation tax rate and economic policy.

You don’t need a level playing field if you leave the eu you can decide yourself what you want to do. That’s what leaving means and France is shitting it now .

Yeah. And you moan about your current financial and job situation now :)

It’s days like this I want Brexit to happen just for the future lols.
Remoaners making the plea to remain: "I care about the poor and working classes who will be affected by brexit!"

Same remoaners about those working class brexit supporters: "Lol, fuck the working classes who voted for brexit! Get wrecked!"

No it ain’t. We already control our tax rates and economic policy. But what we also do is agree on common rules to avoid a race to the bottom where no one wins except the really wealthy.

And what do you think a future FTA with the EU is going to contain? Level playing field conditions and what the French don’t want is the Withdrawal Agreement removing any future leverage.

Come on can we get real here or are you buying the return to a bygone age where we scrap standards, regulations and protections for workers and consumers just so we can put a point or two on the profit ledger?

In accordance with the democratic Fixed Terms Parliaments Act

Right now, thanks to to the last 3 years and the speaker and tactics used i dont see a functioning parliament for a long long time.

How mature
He's the man whose stupidity and arrogance got us into this mess in the first place, I would thoroughly enjoy telling him to fuck off. I might even learn how to say fuck off in every single one of the languages spoken in the 28 countries of the EU just to get my point across. Even welsh.

Yeah, but that is exactly what the EU was meant to be, and clearly it isn't.

Which is why I want to leave it. This "EU" is one being "dictated" by the strongest economies, strongest political powers and strongest industries. How you can stomach us being a part of this EU, or proclaiming that this current EU being a good thing when this is clearly the case that it is unequal, it baffles me.

You'd happily throw Greece under the bus (no pun intended) just to satisfy ourselves? What kind of "union" is this?

So is the UK, by that logic.

He went to the EU before calling the referendum. He hoped to avoid the scenario entirely as he felt the EU would have been more open to the UK's reasonable requests. They were not.

The results of his talks with Tusk were PRECISELY the catalyst that made him call for one.

You keep saying we are scrapping regulations where does it say that in this agreement we have not seen.

In any event there will be a general election and the govt of the day can include what it is going to do in its manifesto and enact as appropriate . If it’s labour you have no worries.

But they aren't offering one before a deal is concluded so we can choose which MP's will back or reject the deal agreed with the EU.

Many of us don't believe the current crop of MP's would ever vote for any deal put before them, because agreeing to one would mean we leave the EU and leaving the EU is what they are against, so we, the public, should be allowed to have our say in which MP's will be in place to voting on the deal.
They're the MPs elected in 2017 when it was obvious Brexit was shit.

So is the UK, by that logic.
The EU is a union of countries, the UK is a country.

I know you'd like to see Scotland as a sovereign country (and I England for that matter) but the reality is, we're not. We're both regions on one country, the UK.

But then, if you agree to the opinion that the UK is not a union and we should go our separate ways (and in part, I agree), then why not the UK with the EU (like I feel we should on that same premise)? The sentiments behind Scotland and Westminster are exactly the same as those between leave voters and our opnion of the EU.

It's hidden behind the coffee stain.
