...and they can explain it at the next GE.

My point stands no matter how many times you say it doesnt.

Parliament now shits or gets off the pot and if they get off, revoke and call a GE immediately because the country needs a new parliament capable of getting something done other than say what they dont want done.

Now you will think revoke ends it but it doesnt for me, it just postpones the inevitable as they open the political landscape to the likes of Farage.

Well we can debate that in the GE thread - i look forward to it.

Strange that those most eager for a 'peoples vote' are the least keen on having their own seats contested by a GE....

Rather reminds me of Anthony Bourdain making fish soup to explain CDOs in The Big Short: ‘See it’s not old fish- it’s a whole new thing, and the best thing is, they’re eating three-day-old halibut. That is the Johnson deal.’

True.

That Lib Dem MEP yesterday was almost in tears as the thought of her newly claimed gravy train was about to depart the station without her.

It’s the same with the brexit meps that Claire rotter was on before you could see her saying she doesn’t like this deal when really she is thinking fuck i am on the eu gravy train and it might end soon?

Self serving wankers.

And then what?
Imagine if we have another referendum, vote leave again, and it's not enacted, again.

Since the referendum, the problem has been "The Will of the People" vs Parliament, who represent "The People". It's madness. We had a GE since the Ref.. If "The People" keep rejecting Brexit, then why are we still wanting "The Will of the People" to decide?

Parliamentary Sovereignty trumps a close result in an Advisory Referendum. Sorry!

Parliament either accepts this deal, or we revoke A50 and go to a GE, where all parties can decide what they want to do going forward, without another fucking extension deadline hanging over them/us.

If/when it's rejected by parliament, I'm really hoping that The EU reject any extension request.

Time to piss or get off the pot.

Farage is the best today coming out in defence of the Benn act pmsl.

None of them have any shame.

We disagree on brexit but you are 100% spot on.

No more time or excuses for this parliament as it is a sham.

Shit or get the fuck off!

I know saying how dare junker threaten our parliament with the threat of no extension.

No extension to his gravy train he means. He is just the equivalent of Corbyn in the eu parliament, a moaner and a rock chucker.

It’s easy moaning and protesting all the time.

Superb post.

Well bugger me sideways we agree.

Farage will never accept a Brexit deal as it means he’s A) off the EU payroll and domestically irrelevant B) he’s not going to win any seats as Brexit is his only policy.

He wanted a no deal pact to secure himself domestically, once he loses his MEP status.

Damn you quoted me before I edited.

Liked. I know you like a like.

Was she one of those behind that letter to Barnier asking him to stop Brexit?

I must add that I see Farage as being a different side of the same coin though and he can see his gravy train coming to an end too.

Edit: I see Farage has been discussed further up!
