Boris is a proven liar, lied to parliament and the queen and shut down parliament to push through the deal he wants which shit on the country going fowards,no-one voted for the bollocks he and may have come up with, leaving is just the beginning,we can't stitch up the country for generations just to leave, the ref question was ridiculous,it was wrapped up as stopping dirty immigrants coming here,we were sold lie after lie from all sides, the reality of leaving has sunk in and we must get it right for the good of everyone, those screaming but we voted out are so desperates to get their own way they will take any crap
Absolutely spot on

Today has proven that Johnson had not intentions on making a deal with the EU and this all was a naked ploy to avoid the Benn Act. Why has he pulled the vote now when with him being so confident his deal had the votes to carry that he didn't have it anyway. What better way to go back to the EU and say look we have a deal its agreed in principle so just give us a couple of months extension and I will have all this boxed off Brexit done dusted.

The whole thing smacks of desperation and what Raab and Gove were telling the ERG was the truth that No Deal was on the cards we just need to play this lot like a cheap fiddle for a while. The only good thing to come out of this is that the mask has slipped and now with some proper scrutiny MP's can vote that bad deal down !!

Leave or remain? like it was ever that simple ,proves my point really

No it wasn’t. But those were the only 2 options on the ballot paper. If you want to blame anyone, blame the likes of Cameron for allowing the referendum in the first place.

You can’t blame the public for this, and calling them thick or whatever because they’re not experts on the intricacies of how the EU works is a bit off. Especially as Jeremy Fucking Corbyn has been voting against the EU all his political life and then gets a free pass for conveniently switching to Remain once he became leader of Labour Party, yet those who get only one chance (some twice) to vote in their lifetime get slagged off by the same people who blow smoke up Corbyn’s arse for daring to vote Leave.

I agree, they were lied to with promises that couldn't be fulfilled, I blame the leave campaign.

Purest drivel, the referendum was binding on the people's representatives, its technical status was not relevant. Dry up.

It's very relevant.

It allowed for the unlawful activity surrounding the vote to go largely unpunished.

How the fuck can the technical status of a referendum be irrelevant ffs.

If you were correct MPs would be currently breaking the law. They are not and they are not bound.

Parliament is sovereign and they regard it as binding, the courts have zero to do with it, they are irrelevant you are just up the same spout as @Rascal.
No, they decided to invoke article 50. There's a difference. Manifesto promises aren't binding, the referendum wasn't specific enough to be binding. Parliament are sovereign, you've got that one right, the only binding thing that gives you is that a majority in parliament are against no deal.
