A solid performance from Joao. The knock was he can't defend, think that's worth keeping an eye on, but he brings a goal threat element that's vital as a 'back up' to Walker. Good signing.

Pretty good overall, but twice today he made the exact same mistake as he did against Wolves, a loose inside pass to no one that gets easily intercepted.

All 3 were identical, and 1 ended the game against Wolves, 1 lead to a dangerous counter today and 1 got snuffed out.

He has to cut that out of his game or he won't be playing regularly ahead of Walker.

Looked settled in his own game for the first time yesterday. Did quite well, some erratic passing but everyone in the team apart from Ederson did some of that.

Did they really need to spend 60 mill on a right back? Would have been better ,putting that money towards a CB ,which was desperately needed.
