I think it really is their year this year. So many stuffy last minute winners.

They were losing the game in the 88th minute and still fucking won in the 95th.

They are winning the league this season... as much as I feel sick typing this they have an air of champions about their relentless ability to get the job done week in week out.

that C*nt Mane just sucked all the happiness out of me that Walker gave me 15 mins ago.

twats.

Unless we beat them twice.
Apart from that.

What's irritating me is that every time I've seen them this season they've looked average and well below their standard last year, but they keep getting these scrappy wins where a bit of magic or a mistake wins it for them. Whereas when we play shit (in a game we still absolutely dominate) we always get punished for it.

I still think we're going to need to beat them home and away to win the league, we're the only team capable of beating them.

no impartiality from sky honest

Neither Sky nor commentators are under any obligation to be impartial. They are there to be excited and whip up viewing figures. Especially last season we were buried in the sane superlative hyperbole. And what they said here is true. That’s what champions do - they don’t give up. Just like we didn’t give up last season and aren’t giving up now.

We have another real fight on our hands.

Unless we beat them twice.
Apart from that.

I know but when Walker scored we had earned a 3 point swing with 10 mins to go.. so to lose potentially 2-3 points in 10 mins means the win feels flat to say the least.

I get the back in our hands stuff and it’s nice but if we want to examine reality the chance of anything more than a point at Anfield is extremely unlikely, history tells you that in both our visits and their home form. I think dropped points for them today would have put a nervy complexion on their performance next week and given us a real opportunity.

The luck dippers had is unreal. The ball flew pass two defenders who did not seem to have any space between them for the winner. That said, they did create a lot of chances while I can’t remember a clear cut chance we created apart from the goals and the last minutes ofthe game.

It’s a long season and anything can happen. Yes, they LOOK like they are on a roll....but when a roll comes to an end, it can throw a real spanner in the works.

City’s job is to amass as many points as possible and FORCE someone to get more. For the last two seasons, no-one has managed it. That’s all.
