Future Strikers

Werner is quality. He’s fast, can assist and score goals. If his release clause is £30m like it is rumoured to be then its a risk free signing considering the prices strikers go for these days. Watch the highlights from Leipzig’s game this weekend, he’s ready made for City’s team.

German Jamie Vardy

That’s actually not a bad comparison, although Werner has a bit more to his game than Vardy.
Not sure Werner would fit in our team. His biggest asset is his pace, but we play against parked buses 95% of the time. Dribbling, passing and hold up play looks pretty poor from what I’ve seen of him. Shite in the air too

I think we need more pace. Aguero isn’t the fastest anymore, neither is Jesus. We’ve only got Sterling at the minute who’s genuinely rapid. His passing is good too. £30m for a striker like him is a bargain. There’s not to many strikers who are available at the minute, especially at that price. I reckon Liverpool might go after him.

The thing is that the striker gets very little space to use his pace compared to the wingers in our team. Good hold up play, good passing and dribbling is more important than pace for our strikers. Being good in the air would also be a great asset

our squad is capable of everything but when Aguero leaves, a true goal scorer will be missing. I like Jesus, he understands the work rate needed under Pep but for me isn't a quality finisher. If he played every game he would score more but so would most strikers in this team.

the only name that comes to mind who fits this is Timo Werner, he's ideal and would score so many for us.

LOL just read reports that Real Madrid have offered 70M plus Bale for Sterling......are we playing Liverpool anytime soon? The bullsh@t has begun.

Werner seems a great player but I expect it will be an odd year to sign him. Aguero is still here next season and Jesus is going nowhere. If his rumored release clause is true, he will definitely be sold somewhere next summer. Would be a great signing for United so I'm guessing they won't be in for him.

Watched Inter the other day, Lukaku got the goals and headlines, but Lautaro Martinez is a much better player, I reckon he'd be perfect. Intelligent, hard working, and so sharp in the box.

He very much reminds me of Aguero, may be his heir. Great player but will probably cost a ton of money

Badly need a new striker in the summer.

If Aguero isn't on form they we struggle to score.
