It’s probably been formed and ingrained from decades of being singled out, being vilified, pretending to be different, being Scouse, not being English, etc.

But i do not listen to Danny Murphy's imaginative punditry.

About penalties. We have some of the most pacy forwards in Europe to 5 leagues. It's easy to concede a spot kick against them.
On Firmino/Fernandinho fouls stats, its natural midfielders/defenders get often carded for a foul than a forward. If you compare Aguero stats with Fernandinho, youd find the same or similar stat. Its the way it is.

Comedy gold number 2 :) Sterling, Sane, Jesus are clearly not as quick as your front 3.....

ON the fouls let's include some other players then:

Firmino, Salah, Mane, Henderson, Windjam, VWD - Total cards since start of 17/18 and a few hundred fouls - 16 Cards.
That's 6 fucking players including a couple of midfielders and a defender.

Fernandinho has 16 cards all by himself.

but salah and Mane have perfected the dive with or without contact.

If you had spent any time around Scousers and learned their values, you would have no love and realise your home town club is probably more worth your time, effort and sentiment. That place is rotten to the core. Stick to Ireland or mid Wales or the arse end of the USA or wherever you live kid
 
I work on Merseyside and have to work with mainly LFC fans on a daily basis. They are unbelievable. They say Man City have forced the rivalry with them. My argument is why would we force a rivalry with a club that has been largely unsuccessful since our period of success started. We've had them twice in the last five years which has caused massive paranoia amongst their beloved club and fanbase. Nope....apparently we've forced it because we're jealous of their success as the most decorated English club. Allison is way better than Ederson, Van Dijk is the best defender in the world as is Alexander Arnold also Robertson. You literally can't have any kind of reasonable football debate with them. It's impossible. There is zero point e trying to reason with them over anything. They are insufferable to put it mildly. Please for the love of god I hope we win on Sunday.

Alisson Vs Ederson is a good debate. Van Dijk is up there with the best but form has dropped this year. TAA is fantastic as an attacking FB but plenty to learn in defence which would be a definite weakness on Sunday. Robertson, not as good in attack but still good. Much better defensively than Trent.
As Drubas said, it's because of your injuries I'd be more hopeful as the teams are more balanced. Sane always made me very nervous so I'm glad he's a threat that we won't have to worry about.
Your midfield is savage. I imagine D Silva will be available as well as B Silva, (which would've been ridiculous if he was banned imho). Fabinho will have his work cut out for him.
Hoping it doesn't turn ugly, on or off the pitch, and may the better team on the day win.

Not really. He will play his usual game. Run around kicking fuck out of anybody and everybody and get his customary yellow card in 90 + 2.
