We know that Pep loves some mind games and it wouldn't surprise me to see something unexpected tomorrow.

Just imagine if we could actually pull off the win tomorrow, as difficult as that will undoubtedly be. Would it rank as one of our finest wins since we were founded back in 2008?
It would be up there with the Sickswan as a statement of intent.

I would not mind mate but he was going on about head to heads. Over the last few seasons they have gone head to head with us on two title run ins and crumbled both times. They have also failed against us twice in 2 cup finals. Yes they beat us in the champs league but I rather have what we have done to them over the last few years, than what they have managed to achieve against us. When it really matters, we get the job done against them.
They didn’t beat us in the champions league the officials did.

The ref will be waiting for fern to make his first foul and the yellow will be out quicker than a Mane dive getting a pen. They will commit foul after foul and we will be the team with multiple yellows and potentially reds.
Depressingly accurate I fear.

It was 5-1 over 2 legs, sorry but that's beaten, what should have happened didn't, we played well in the home leg, and had we put our chances away, who knows, but we didn't and so we were beaten.

You've swallowed the media codswallop. Salah offside, Jesus onside, Sterling mugged no call, Sane disallowed, Firminho professional foul on KDB no second yellow. You reverse all those clearcut fuck-ups, we likely win comfortably.

OK, but it was still 5-1 over 2 legs, you can reverse everything that went for them/against us, but its unrealistic really, however had we taken our chances in the home leg, that would have certainly made a difference, sadly we didn't.

Blind optimism from me. It would be just like city to go there with the most injury hit/cobbled together side we've had for ages and get a result. Well absolutely piss it and batter them. This will be the start of their decline and by Xmas they'll be pretending they are too big to bother with the league and are concentrating on the world cup thingy.

The aggregate score wasn't a true reflection. We had them hanging on at Anfield and got screwed over.

Our biggest crime was the missed chances at home, I'm not sure we had them "hanging on at anfield", they won 3-0, yes we were playing well at the end, but we failed the biggest test in football, scoring a goal, had we got one, who knows ? We didn't.

Even when we did they scrubbed them off, every time Sane left TAA he was given offside incorrectly.

it was like “escape to victory” even the commentary was as bad.

This is the first time that I’ve actually wanted Pep to throw a curveball with formation & tactics.

He’s done my head in last few years, tinkering when it wasn’t necessary, however this time it’s wholly predictable how they will line up and play, and with our injuries it’d be nice for once to keep them guessing by being a bit different.

We have the players to beat them, just need the rub.
Pep has forged his legend by applying tactics, selections and formations that no other coach in the world has the balls, the imagination or the intelligence to try. That's why Pep's the world's greatest coach. He sees players in training and knows their condition. People only remember the games things didn't work out, but because those occasions are so rare they've stuck in your memory. If you want predictable selections, don't hire Pep. Whatever selections and formations and Pep makes, they'll be worked on intensely.

The biggest crime was OUR missed chances....oh I said that already.

They scored, 5, over 2 legs, we scored 1, we certainly didn't have 5 disallowed.
