And here ends the party political broadcast on behalf of the Labour party. Honestly Bob, day by day you get to sound more and more like Rascal or IfIwasonly...

They are reporting news. If its bad for the Tory Government perhaps they should have done something to prevent such poor performance - they have been the Government for 9 years after all.

See above.
It's choices though and short sighted cuts in one area that causes more spend it another part, without getting into austerity right or wrong there are good choices and bad choices cutting the front end just increased costs of treatment at the back end.

9 years of restrained spending, *which we voted for* three times.

It's so bloody easy to criticise from the sidelines isn't it, without ever having the actual responsibility for running the country and for making tough decisions about where and what to spend money on. No, you can just sit there and yell "ABC is terrible, XYZ is terrible" And "I would fix EVERYTHING, and we'd spend more money on EVERYTHING". Well thankfully there are enough voters to see through that utter bollocks. Corbyn's spent his whole life peddling such crap and considerate voters do not believe him.

Bit of a silly response that Bob.

I did say regardless of the government and that point stands.

Just ask the doctors and nurses what they think about someone pissed up abusing them or the guy with a headache from the night before taking up their time.

The point doesn’t stand. NHS underfunding leads to a steady deterioration in performance. Adequate funding doesn’t. The Tories habitually underfund. Labour habitually correct this.

The pissed up guy is a constant under any Govt. The level of funding isn’t.

Funny but some of those posters who like to peddle the racism line at every given opportunity on the political threads have completely doubled down on the Bernardo tweet threads*

* = I'm not saying Bernardo is a racist of course, but the double standards displayed by some between these threads and that one are clear for all to see
It is done, IMO, entirely for the purpose of demeaning through the association of Leave voters - and by extension Tory voters - to all things bad

Pretty shallow and as you say - very obvious

Can't see Bob agreeing with you mate. Doesn't fit his "evil Tories" campaign.

Ah yes, spend more on EVERYTHING. Of course, the perfect solution. How silly of us to not have thought of it.

Just so long as you employ a good accountant to keep your own tax bill down though eh Bob.

Bob said:
My second golden rule is more personal. Always employ a very good accountant. Never ignore this rule.

Shall we dig out waiting times under other governments and compare spending and actual numbers using the service then to now?

They would because they dont realise and dont for a second think i should probably just self medicate for my sore back or my headache or my cold sore.

You go to the supermarket for mild pain relief.

You go to the pharmacy for things a bit worrying but certainly not life threatening there and then who can advice and send to the doctor if they feel it the right thing to do.

You go to the doctor if you are really feeling unwell and worried about something.

Finally you go to A&E because you are either in the back of an emergency ambulance or you have a serious injury and can get yourself there under your own steam.

Our emergency services are abused.
But it's getting worse so are the numbers of stupid people increasing or has something else changed?

Bloody brilliant isn't it by all the political parties. "If we get in to power we will spend £xbillion" on whatever, countered immediately by another party saying "we will spend that but raise it by £ybillion". Do they think we are all stupid, it will be us in the end paying for it!

most people aren’t that interested in politics. A lot of people will be more interested in voting on I’m a celebrity get me out of here than the election.

That will be true to some degree but it's definitely not helped by the electoral system. If you look at the highest turnouts across the world, the ones at the top of the list use PR.

There's also the problem that we don't have anyone who speaks to the working class of this country anymore.

Until both of them things change then we're still going to have a third of voters not turning out.

No mate, under Labour, only "other people" have to pay for it. It's marvellous.

I never voted for it. What %age of the vote did the winning party get at each election? At two of them the "winners" didn't even get a working majority. Hardly a ringing endorsement.

wretched stats from a mismanaged underfunded public service - however it fits in with the usual Tory M.O. - starve a service of cash, run it down, suggest to people their needs would be better met if it were in private hands - sell it off. Worked with rail etc

Your suggestion is preposterous. A publicly-owned NHS has been a cornerstone of Tory party policy for the past 50 years, and no-one has been talking, hinting, suggesting, planning or even considering, selling it off. You know it, I know it, we all know it. Suggesting otherwise is a Labour Lie.
