What really funny is most of them will be "BMW" man themselves.

One @BobKowalski was even bragging about getting a good accountant like he has so as to minimise his own tax liabilities.

Its about virtue signalling.
When I read most of their comments, this seems quite apt to describe how they ACTUALLY feel.

U gotta fight for your right to (have pineapple and egg with your meat) and PARTY!

Thank you for that most insightful contribution. For the record I stick to white meat usually in a curry. More often than not prepared by some foreign type people whom I have to say seem to make a much better job of it than me, though I am getting there.

Funny enough whilst here in this nation of racially ignorant folks I indulged in one of the finest I have sampled...The Little India in Tavira I wholeheartedly recommend it should you happen to lower yourself to visiting such a racist country. Prior to this splendid meal I had sadly to partake of the medical service here where a very large black gentleman did a splendid job of resolving the issue.

Whilst here I did see a drink called Um-bongo though havent come across any gammon so you never know you might even enjoy being in a place where nobody seems to give a fuck about such things.

Now it’s bragging? I don’t know. You dispense some solid advice and 24 hours later you’re a big time Charlie. Sounds like the politics of envy to me. Afford a good accountant? Burn him!

Still I’ve now learnt there is a thriving market for bad accountants. I’ll be honest, I did not see that coming.

@Len Rum likes this. It's the first time he's ever heard the expression "reasoned argument" in a response to one of his posts. He'll be opening a bag of crisps and that old bottle of Lidl lager he's been saving for a treat. Maybe turn an extra bar on on the fire for an hour or so.
That's a bit spooky mate - I do actually like a bag of crisps, and a lager although I'm more of a Leffe Blonde man. As for an extra bar on the fire, well not quite but I do have a log burner and I'll be chucking a couple of extra logs on there soon as it's getting a bit nippy.
Anyway don't let me keep you from your favourite (solitary) pastime.
Have a nice evening.

Its pointing out the hypocrisy Bob.

Good accountant? Absolutely.

What do you think those businessmen that have made far more than you or I ever will do?

That's right, they employ and even better one.

So now we have established that people with a few bob have all employed good accountants, where exactly or how exactly are Labour going to get more tax from them and you for that matter?

It's on this thread somewhere, something like baby boomers should be laughed at when they get put in badly run care homes. There's a bit of a theme with some people wishing harm or insulting old people, odd that.

To be fair I don’t agree with that, laughing at older people no matter who they voted for.

Although this whole new boomer vs millennial shite was started by the boomer generation.

They’ve used rhetoric like ‘snowflake’ and called millennials soft, now they’re the snowflakes and are crying because younger people are giving it back.

I personally dislike snowflakes of all ages.

The NHS settlement averaged 4% p.a. increase every year. - in 2010 that was slashed to under 1% - every year since then its been just above or just below 1%. The Tories are promising @2.6% increase next year Labour 3.9%. Those were the figures given out on a BBC Factcheck earlier. Thats 9 consecutive years huge underfunding at a time when demand has increased thanks to an ageing population - something which if you listen to Johnson today has crept up on them out of nowhere.

You can keep your money to demonstrate how you feel about your fellow man - I still say there will be millions like me who have no problems with our money being spent on things that we treasure and need. You keep your cash to pay for BUPA. But remember when BUPA fucks up you know where you'll be sent for treatment? An NHS hospital.

Well apart from the "underfunding" being your arbitrary desire rather than any absolute measure and apart from the fact that we have had 9 years of austerity where everything has had to be squeezed.... Apart from all of that, you say millions like you will have no problems with "our money" being spent....?

"Our money" is already being spent. In fact it's being more than spent. We're spending £50bn extra every year more than we actually have to spend, already. So who do you think should be paying more? Do you think YOU should be paying more? YOU personally? Or just "someone else". Maybe you need a good accountant like Bob, so you can avoid any tax increases.

"Social justice". Don't you just love that expression. Like it's an injustice to have had the actual temerity to do well for yourself. Social justice warriors? Tossers.

How has it come to a situation where me, a working class lad from Hazel Grove FFS, who has never claimed a penny of benefits in his life is an evil **** for objecting to paying even more income tax, when those on benefits, sometimes a huge drain on resources, are saints. We are the evil cunts, having half our money taken off us, and those receiving all our money are saints.

What a bizarre country this is at times, it really is.
Who has said your evil lol.

Btw £1.10 in every £100 on benefits spent is estimated to be lost in fraud, roughly 1.9 billion. In 2015/16.

Our total expenditure in 2016 was £772 billion

"Snowflake" wasn't started by Boomers, It was by Gen X'ers/Millenials.
Just, you know, an FYI.

NHS spending.

I keep reading how we are spending less but it simply isnt the truth.

I'll have you know I am the most popular man I know. And both of my friends say so!

Surprised you can run to Leffe though mate. That must whistle off the shelves at the food bank, no?

Oooo you've gone and done it now. They won't like that, won't like it one bit. We don't want...... evidence!!!!!

don’t worry mate , just like on the brexit thread , if they start to lose the point they will just turn to the usual standard argument...

You must be thick and a racist .

by the way labour 20/1 at the bookies.

Incorrect-

It became popular in 2016 when some older generations scoffed at young people’s “hysterical” reaction to the EU referendum result.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....snowflake-generation-meaning-origin-term/amp/

Then Trump used it and it took off.

“Generation snowflake” even refers to younger people.

It’s always been about how soft millennials are and now some of giving it back the older lot are becoming ‘snowflakes’.

I’d rather everyone just dropped it. There’s good people and wankers at all levels and I even had a very good chat with a 90 year old leave voter recently. This division needs to stop, we need to get on making the country better.

t's not that we're spending less

It must be, its been said all day long?

£156 Billion.

30p of every £1 spent goes on the NHS.

The graph above shows the increase in spending since the 90's.

Money alone will not fix the issues the NHS has going into the coming years.

"Snowflake" has been around since Fight Club, which was released in 1999. "Chuck Palahniuk has often been credited with coining the metaphorical use of snowflake in his 1996 novel Fight Club, which contains the quote: "you are not special, you are not a beautiful and unique snowflake".The 1999 film adaptation also has this line.

And you're using The Sun to back you up? I don't want a discussion about it, you're just wrong.

Gen X'ers are being called "Karens" by Zoomers. It's never going to end, just accept it.

Who gives a fuck if flight club use it.

It’s a term used by older people to undermine millennials.

It only took off because of Trump and the EU ref.
