come over to Germany for the weekend (29th nov - 1st dec)

1. FC Köln - FC Augsburg on saturday
Mönchengladbach - SC Freiburg on sunday

a bit of sightseeing and going to the xmas-markets in Cologne in between.

Düsseldorf was fantastic when we played Monchengladbach 3 years ago, friendly locals and some great beer. Would deffo go back.

Flight to Frankfurt Airport, from there its a short train journey to either Frankfurt, Wiesbaden or Mainz All nice places to visit.

Mrs uwe is currently in Vienna and sending me photos of cake and cafes where I enjoyed stuffing my face with liver dumpling soup.

I'm going to Turin in a couple of weeks. I've heard it's picked up a lot in recent years from being a run down industrial city. Has anyone been?

Now the wife has retired we have the chance to visit various cities in European countries we`ve never ventured to before.
