He doesn’t suit our possession based game. Gives the ball away far too much and falls asleep frequently when teams attack.

Despite spending close to £200m on full-backs in recent years, I’m not convinced any of them are top quality.

I’d like to see us move for Chilwell next season.

Not even sure he’s used is main weapon and crossed the ball once today.
I still think he needs more time since he's been off for 2 years, but we should be seeing his deadly crossing coming back by now, we aren't setting him up enough to do this and he is at fault as well.

Would like to see Angelino start and see if he can push Mendy to be better.

Whats worrying is hes looking slow and pace is a big part of his game hopefully the injurys havent hampered his speed to much

I think he’s poor. What amazes me is that he makes so many mistakes every game I can’t seem to recall us conceding a goal from one of his mistakes. Before he got injured, I had my doubts about his defensive game and his basic technique, his attacking ability was the only thing going for him but that doesn’t seem to have come back yet. I don’t think he’ll be here by the start of next summer.

Chilwell is class. Never feel confident with Mendy.

How long are we going to excuse his performances because of previous injuries?

He’s just not up to it

Keeps passing it to players when it's not on, leaving us open to the counter attack, not sure what he was doing watching Kante just run past.

Improved in the second half

Mendy was poor 1st half, but Raz was a on a nice walk then.

2nd half Raz was working more and switched wings with Mahrez,
Mendy had a better 2nd half.

Anyway, I didn't understand Pep today, both fullbacks were the wrong choice IMO.

we' surely haven't covered ourselves in glory in fullback transfer market.

Cancelo still settling in to life here so time needed for him. Mendy is a concern he seems to have lost a yard of pace. Gives the ball away a lot that is when he manages to control it

Agree about his passing, don't about watching Kante, Kante got half a yard on him but he matched his run and then got megged. I'd question why Ederson came out.
