Am I correct in saying that the UK and US have been in trade talks for years and the US have made some demands which we haven't said anything about and that translates into the NHS is up for sale. Would be a bit worrying if the two countries hadn't been talking about trade deals wouldn't it?

there are several sources of US govt officials on the record saying that any trade deal with the UK will require full access to the NHS.

Ok. Alternative scenario.
Party with even lower support provides the new PM, with support from parties with even lower. New PM negotiates very soft Brexit deal that is then put to the people in a referendum. Seems much more democratic than leaving it to a PM to trash previous promises in doing a deal that doesn't even get parliamentary scrutiny (we're having an election because he refused to allow scrutiny of the deal he'd got but then blamed parliament for blocking it).

You're mistaking me mate for someone who said there had been any agreement.
The point is the Government have denied that price paid for drugs is on the table yet here we have a document proving otherwise ( by various means drug patent extension being one).
As I said earlier six meetings and 541 pages is a lot of discussion about something that's not on the table.
