It predicts Tories take 44 seats off Labour? I just cannot see that ( Cummings agrees with me ) - I reckon no overall majority for any party which will be piss funny as 2 consecutive PM's will have called an election to enact "the will of the people" and will have been thwarted by "the will of the people"

I can see the Tories with an overall majority.
One that mig wouldnt surprise me as much as i'd want to be surprised.

Unless you are a student.
You can vote twice.
Once in your home.
And once again in your university town.
The last election was held in university term time and the city of Canterbury fell to Labour.
First time ever. . .because of of deluded students.
So the students either drop out and fuck off or finish their degree then fuck off leaving the poor people of Canterbury with a total spunk trumpet who they don't want.
The law should be changed to make sure that if you are voting in a constituency you actually permanently live there.

Surely if you are on a uni course of 3/4/5 years then you are permamently living there at that time.

Otherwise no one could vote as anyone could move in their lifetime so no one is permament

I can remember when this all came around again last year and Corbyn chose to attend passover to prove a point.

Of course he didn't attend passover with the Jewish community, he chose to share it with Jewdas which is a Jewish left wing political group that maintains criticism of Israel.

It is however anti-semitic to separate Jewish people by the question of Israel because that question has nothing to do with being Jewish.

Here is an important point - since when have Labour supporters picked or chosen their Muslim friends by the question of Saudi Arabia/Yemen?

The Labour party manifesto says that they will not sell arms or munitions to either Israel or Saudi Arabia.

I know who St. George is. But who are the liberals? (the lower case l confuses me too)

Edit, im being facetious, but il get to the point. Do you actually believe this crap?

If there’s one thing I can’t stand it’s pedantic people.

And yes I do believe this shit. I’m a millennial and therefore I see it in my colleagues and friends all the time.

Virtue signalling is now an every day characteristic of many people and we’re forgetting ourselves in the process.

Why not ..... it is after all history
No, it's a forced opinion.

You cannot teach something is "bad", you can only present the facts of what happened. Whether a person perceives it to be bad or not is based upon the conclusion the other person reaches. Presenting something as being evil from the offset removes all objectivity about the issue. The Labour Government would be presenting their version of history and forcing the public to accept it.

Remove the British Empire aspect about it and how can this proposal not make you shudder? Imagine if the Government announced a proposal to teach the public how Britain should never have gotten involved in the Second World War. Well it's the same with this. Emotive issue aside, no Government should propose to educate on a topic with a clear agenda.

You guys need to get your line straight, this documents is either covered in dust, of no import, showing negotiations between an ex minister and various no name US nobodies, all of it conducted under a different Prime Minister, or its disclosure is a traitorous crime and Corbyn should be locked up in the Tower.

Go away and come back when you make sense.

Why am I not making sense? It doesn't matter what the document contains.

He was holding up and giving out a document that is protectively marked to say it is not fit for public release or viewing by non-UK nationals.

Whether he agrees with what it contains or not and whether he came by it through other means, it's release is illegal and damaging to the UK. Corbyn has a duty to protect UK interests in the world but here he has chosen yet again to go against them.

Labour aren't fit to be trusted in government, plain and simple.

Aye, yes i dream of marching with Martin Luther King and the Suffragettes, if i don't believe that someone of a different race, gender, sexuality, age or nationality is endangering my existence. Sure, nothing pedantic about that metaphor.

Tbf, there IS indeed a fair bit of bravado with virtue proclamation. And sometimes, some is needed too. Sometimes it is completely unnecessary. There is likewise plenty of unfounded moaning about snowflake culture PC obsession 'liberals' and 'elites' too. Reducing it to such exclusive extremes is what i had an issue with, rather than the general topic.

So you're against teaching "British Values" in schools?

Especially the value of "individual liberty" to pupils who are legally obliged to attend school...

"I'm sorry, sir, but I'm using my individual liberty to walk out of this class on individual liberty"

Welcome to Labours Soviet state!

Sorry, just to address your 'pedantic' remark too, if what has annoyed you is my comment on the lower case l? that wasn't me being pedantic btw, heck i make plenty of typos myself and don't bother checking. And i guess wasnt aimed at you alone too.

I find the use of this generic dismissive 'liberals' & 'elites' quasi term a bit of a pet hate vacuous get-out.

Why is it damaging to the UK?
Damaging to the government of the day, maybe.
Why should it be labelled "secret"?

Are you really happy that any government should be allowed to suppress evidence that it is lying over a vital election issue?

Is the NHS / drug pricing on the US trade talk table or not? Either Johnson or Trump is lying.

What the liberals are engaging in is St George Retirement Syndrome.

St George slays the dragon and gets plaudits right across the world. He loves it. He then spends the rest of his life trying to slay other dragons to keep the praise coming, that he so craves.

Eventually he slays smaller and smaller beasts until he’s found waving his sword trying to kill thin air.

The liberals have grown up imagining themselves marching on Washington with Dr Martin Luther King Jr. They long to be a Suffragette. Unfortunately those battles have been won already, they are reaping the rewards, that they should be fucking grateful for and here they are now attacking white straight men and spouting the ridiculous “white privilege”, often at blokes who have grown up on council estates and worked hard.

They are St George retired and are waving their sword at thin air... the problem has disappeared.

You do know St George was either Turkish or Syrian right ? Never set foot in the UK.
