I can say to the Chief Rabbi "I think your religion is a load of bollocks. But if you want to believe it, practice it and observe it, go ahead, you should feel free to do so without me stopping you."

That's not anti-semitism. Anti-semitism would be to tell the Chief Rabbi "I hate you, I hate your religion and you should be stopped from being allowed to practice it"
Sorry pal not going down one of you're semantic garden paths it's the politics thread where people post bar charts and debate fiscal responsibility. So going on percentages I asked the question when on a 2 to 1 ratio of current candidates the Tory's are more prone to anti-Semitism why is only one party under scrutiny?

He’s not gone on this because he doesn’t have to. He’s not going on Andrew Neil because he doesn’t have to. In my opinion there are 2 very clear and obvious reasons for this:

1) Corbyn is a waste of time. It’s over
But
2) It’s Brexit at all costs and he’s the man to do it, apparently. So no matter what the people who still want Brexit will vote for him

The only thing that matters is if Labour can end this election campaign with minimal damage so someone else can pick up the pieces and get the act back together quickly.

For a football analogy - Labour were relegated when Ed Milliband lost the election. Now their parachute payments are about to run out I.e totally fucked unless they restructure

LOL!!

Ah, I see!

Basically, BloJo doesn't have to explain any plans he has for the future, for yours, your kids, your siblings, your family etc., as long as he "gets Brexit done!"!

Shocking.

"I'm asking questions and not getting answers"

*gives answer*

"Sorry pal, not going down one of your semantic garden paths..."

Okay but you DID ask the question to others. Your definition of islamophobia is incorrect and it's been explained to you why. Note: i'm not voting Tory either. Merely pointing out that hating the Tories for Islamophobia but permitting a vote for Labour for their anti-semitism is a little... hypocritical. I'm voting for neither, not primarily because of those reasons, but they are a factor.

I think you’ve misinterpreted my post. My point was that it is irrational to fear a religion - I made no remark about Johnson

To be clear I think the ‘get Brexit done’ idea is a load of bollocks

Fearing a religion isn’t the same as fearing every person that follows it.

Fearing a religion that can spawn something like ISIS is completely normal.

I fear all religions, the fanatics of all of them scare the shit out of me.

You fear nutcases, not a particular religion

Sorry I think your mistaken I'm not doing the defining here.......still no answers

Their warped views are a result of the religion.

The texts are the problem and luckily most Muslims, like other religious folk, use it like a buffet and ignore the extreme stuff.

Fear probably isn’t the word, I’m not afraid, I’m just fed up with religions and their nonsense.

Jezz well briefed and knowledgeable on this subject.
Coming across very well.
BoJo's ice sculpture not quite melted yet.

But the melt is melting..............he and his team are fearful of facing proper scrutiny. They will appear in front of someone who won't ask the difficult question and allow him as much time as he wants to soundbite his "answers" for them. If they won't play ball then like the pathetic bully he is he threatens the broadcasters very existence - fucking man child.

Tories have threatened to withdraw Channel 4's broadcasting licence after the Ice Sculpture debate tonight.

Says it all about the control freaks. Makes me wonder how much they are doing the same with other broadcasters during this supposed period of purdah.

If the polls are correct (and they have known to be wrong in the past!), and the lovely Boris strolls in with a majority, this place will be really, REALLY fun that weekend. Those poor mods will be working their arses off!
And many of us will be like this

I find racism unacceptable, it would appear many don't.

For the record I don't believe Corbyn to be racist, I do think his handling of racism in his party has been pathetic.

I do believe Johnson to be racist and I think he doesn't care at all about handling the issue of racism in his party.

For people to vote Conservative over Lib Dem because of their Brexit position tells me they find that issue more important than racism and that is where the UK is right now.
It's not really a surprise as Tories have always been party before country. Just like their US Republican brethren, truth and morals go out the window for power, yet people still vote for them as they like soundbites not substance.

As for Trump I'm against him not only as a politician but as a human being.

Then your post that I responded to is at loggerheads with this position.
