In fairness, we've not had a chance.

Boris saying sorry for islamophobia doesn't address the issue within the party itself, but at least it shows public acknowledgment so now Boris is on notice to see if the accusations get worse or improve. What I suspect people find odd is that there are those saying "don't vote Boris, he's an islamophobe" but in the same breath say "Vote Corbyn", who is considered by some to be still heavily associated with the antisemitism plaguing his party.

Wouldn't it make more sense not to promote either on here?
I think it's a distraction,we are voting a party in for 5yrs,imo people are looking at the wrong things,it's not about brexit, jews or islamophia imo,it's distracting from disecting the policies, checking what is lies or truths,i posted about the lies from boris ob the nhs, fact checked it's bollocks, that got lost in all the shouting about corbyn and makes discussion on here difficult, whoever you vote for don't complain in a couple of years about what you should have paying attention too before voting, you as in everyone

I know who is who, none of you acknowleged boris saying sorry for islamophobia, doesn't suit the narrative does it, rather shout about corbyn and not about the tories being racist, my point is it's both sides so lets not pretend otherwise
You clearly don't and that could be because Johnson hasn't apologised for Islamophobia or because neither the Tory nor the Labour party is composed entirely of racists despite what you pretend everybody knows.

Completely agree with this, drives me nuts on both sides. Glass houses and all that, there’s no moral high ground to be had there whatsoever, “we’re slightly less racist than you” is still nothing to be proud of.

Just on the conservatives, they were asked for clarification on their processes by the EHRC earlier this year too and since then they’ve had a few cases where they’ve allowed people back in (or not suspended them in the first place). They’ve been asked again recently so we could have a situation where both of our main parties are under investigation by the EHRC, which is a fucking appalling state of affairs.

You’re right it’s on Johnson now, let’s hope his investigation isn’t as pointless as Chakrabatis...

Correct, it absolutely is distracting.

Yet it doesn't stop the narrative of "hey, Boris once said this about working class men 24 years ago!"
No-one really cares about that, discuss the policies. It's more attempts to vote on personalities and both sides are guilty of it.

I won't be voting for Corbyn's Labour or Boris's Conservatives, so I have every right to complain towards those who do elect their members, both of whom I find unfit for office.

Then your post that I responded to is at loggerheads with this position.

Ah! That post was satirical.

A damning indication of where we are politically that it could be believed as this is clearly the stance of many voters.

Same old same old........'you're talking a lot but you're not saying anything'

"Do you trust haaratz as a reliable source?"

"I haven't read it enough, or probably at all to give an accurate answer. I cannot say it is or it isn't as i've barely read it."

"you're avoiding answering"

No you have been having trouble accepting my answers or interpreting them as answers. So here's it clearer for you; I haven't read it enough times to make a judgement to say it is reliable or not.

Yet you put forward Jewish publications as empirical evidence of Jewish opinion.....can't have it both ways.

When did I say it was "an example of empiricle evidence of jewish opinion"?

It's where I investigated the claims being made and learned more about the issues being raised given I have access to them due to family members. Other media outlets soon confirmed the claims. There's also the Panorama investigation for your disposal.

Let's turn it around, which publications can you cite that invalidates the claims being made by Jewish Labour members? Because you seem to be very "dismissive" of the claims being made.

Straight up, do you believe Labour has an anti-semitism problem? If not, cite your sources you acknowledge to dispute the claims.

thats like saying you can't be a racist as some people you work with and the guy who cuts your hair are black ffs........if Labour are racist then why does the Jewish Labour Movement exist - thats the level or your argument
It wont for long if Adolf Corbyn gets in.

The BBC has complained to the Conservatives about a Facebook advert that uses edited footage of its news reporters and presenters.

The BBC says the material has been taken out of context and its lawyers have asked the party to remove the ad.

The 15-second video was first shown on Thursday afternoon and has so far been seen by more than 100,000 users.

The Conservatives said the footage had "not been edited in a manner that misleads or changes the reporting".

Three clips of BBC reporters or presenters - political editor Laura Kuenssberg, News at Ten presenter Huw Edwards and political correspondent Jonathan Blake - speaking in recent broadcasts are used to describe the situation in Parliament.

"Pointless delay to Brexit" and "another Brexit delay" are among the lines of BBC News commentary used.

As you will do anything to trash Corbyn.

What's the difference?

Oh and you've bypassed the apology from Corbyn.

Not even a mention!!

You must be speedreading...
I dont want an apology!
I want the hundreds of Labour party members censored/ suspended /banned for their ONLINE AND/OR PERSONAL ABUSE of any jewish person, Labour party worker or Labour MP who dares to criticise the Labour party, comrade Corbyn or other Labour official about the systemic failure of the Labour party in dealing with antisemitism.
Pick any jew who stands up for their faith or other Jews and against the abuse they receive and look at their twitter feeds it's not long before the abuse kicks in.
