It's based on the Hawkeye system.Does anybody know how many cameras are used for determining offsides. You would need a hell of a lot to ensure you were directly in line with any incident.
If the camera is not directly in line then it makes it far harder to check an offside, which is why the law has to be changed if they persist with VAR.

VAR has changed nothing. The twats that used to referee teams differently to others are still doing it but now hidden in some room in the middle of nowhere.
Until the VAR is operated by a completely independent body then nothing will change, they even amend the rules of the game as they go along to justify their decisions.

Have to say that can only be a corrupt decision. No other explanation is possible. Real Madrid leader of the Cartel against the rich team with the wrong sort of foreign owners. Madrid have been getting these sort of decisions in Spain for decades. Ask the fans of any other Spanish teams.The twat of a ref didn’t want to give the penalty for PSG at any cost, bent as fuck.

I can think of one or two outfits, currently emblazoned across a couple of PL team shirt fronts, who would kill their grandmothers to get that sponsorship!
I find myself celebrating less this season when we score, because for me, VAR ruins the excitement. As I don’t want the disappointment of it being disallowed! Don’t get me wrong, you can’t help but feel euphoria when we score, but it’s more of a subdued “yes” for me this season. Am I the only one that feels like this because of VAR? Was just wondering, cheers.

the penalty was never a penalty anyway,the keeper goes does and the forward leaves his leg in and actually catches the gk,and it was a foul on whatisname
the offside I think is down to the camera angle, i would say that the PSG player is playing him on,if we saw an inline image that would certainly help , look at the live angle ,he is clearly on side,the replay angle makes it look hes offside because of the angle.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Sometimes I think to myself, am I falling out of love for the game? Is it just me, kind of thing? the thing with the pen shout was the referee did not give it knowing it would have killed the chance of over turning it with VAR. also because contact was made and its a stone wall pen and had to be given and the referee would have been wrong because and he was giving a free kick. the referee should have pointed straight to the spot in my book and VAR would have not looked at the so called foul in the PSG half. but the control the referee had over the game was shocking and he did his best to give madrid the points
the offside is open to judgement because we are not in line or the best video replays, but it looks like the madrid player shoulder is infront of the PSG player, so again should have been 2 minutes or more under VAR review but nothing
