All stems from not strengthening the squad in the summer and keeping rubbish players or those past their best.

And I’m not sure the players we have brought in, Cancelo and Rodri, are really all that, are you ?

starting to think Laporte’s injury is just an excuse. We still have ridiculously talented team but our style isn’t working any more. It was never going to last forever, but the level of performances has dropped off a cliff and teams just know how to deal with us now.

We'd have won that easily with Sane and Laporte.

Why wont Pep start Foden? He is exactly what our side needs. Energy and a player able to break into the box

What a pile of fucking dogshit in front of goals we are, bar the 2 actual goals scored. Too slow in the build up, and laughable finishing.

Combined with drunken sailor defending and a shithouse referee and we drop more points against a fucking awful team. They are fucking laughable going forward yet scored 2....

Summed up perfectly although the ref was far from any blame today. Cityitis is well and truly back. In fact today was arguably the perfect definition of Cityitis.

That is on Pep because there is no injury crisis that big that we have to play him as a CB.

Fucking awful from front to back, dippers will walk the league this season.
Gundo is wank, he offers nothing to the team, slow, predictable and no fight or passion. Who ever scouted Mendy for his crossing needs sacking, bag of shite.
We have become slow and ponderous, should make top 4 but nothing else, easy to read and Pep constantly dropping/switching players should be questioned, he's not beyond questioning.
Missing Sane more than we imagined.

There is something very wrong with this team, lethargic, lacking any sort of urgency on the ball.
For me Gundo went missing yet again, Mahrez massively inconsistent, and Mendy just WTF is he even a professional footballer? Fecking awful

Lack of pace from too many players (Rodri Mendy Gundo Silva)
Sané injury
Laporte injury
Fernandinho having to play at the back, we are missing him in midfield)
Kun injury
Silva looks like he’s come to the end
Rodri doesn’t look at the right standard
Mendy has been very poor
de Bruyne’s passing is hit and miss
Sterling is woefully out of form
Mahrez isn’t doing enough
Jesus isn’t doing enough
Bernardo has dropped in form
Gundo is poor in attacking mid
Angeliño isn’t good enough
Cancelo doesn’t look particularly great
Stones had come back in great form but made a mistake today

The whole squad bar two players are underperforming (so everyone can stop with singling out individuals right away!)

Also VAR is fucking us over regularly and is having a psychological affect. It’s taken the stuffing out of us I reckon.

Pep is not working out the right formula to combat all of the above.

Ederson and Fernandinho have been brilliant but that’s about it.

We need a lift. We need something like Pep to say he’s staying longer and sign a new extended deal or Sané to do the same.
