So if you are a small/medium business owner under Labour you would see:

Your staff wage costs rise by between nearly £4 and £2 an hr across the board. Yes across the board, as if your 30yr old foreman gets say £11hr he/she isn't going to be happy when the 16yr old with no experience suddenly gets paid nearly as much. He/she will want and rightly expect to get paid significantly more.

A tax or the abolition of dividends.

Your corporation tax go up to between 2% and 7%. Assuming they can work out what the difference is between turnover and profit? As they didn't seem to know last week!

Your ability to hire staff on flexible contracts that suit your work requirements abolished. Full time or part time only guys.

A 32hr week in a few years, so another potential reduction in productivity of circa 20%.

You will have to pay staff for another 4 new bank holidays.

Have to cover maternity leave for an extra 3 months and cover extra paternity leave, which will increase from 2 to 4 weeks.

But don't worry, it's not all doom and gloom if you run a small business. Labour is going to put a know nothing small business adviser in your local post office and reduce your bills by circa £50 a month with free broadband!

No one in their right mind who runs or even works for a small or medium business would vote for this shower.

The policies above would result in mass unemployment and a big rise in inflation.

Vote Labour and you will get economic ruin for the many not the few!

God forbid any employer should look after their workforce. And if you’re gonna moan about extra maternity leave then there really is no saving you.
I’m on maternity leave right now and in total I’m taking a whole year, my company are very supportive . I’m breast feeding btw. In America women are forced back to work within weeks because they don’t get maternity. If I was rushed back to work I think my mental health would be ruined and shoving my child in a nursery at 3/4 weeks old where I’d either have to buy formula or be forced with zero option to pump all my milk if my employer was ok with disappearing every 2/3 hours for 30/40 minutes .

your whole post just reaffirms my choice to vote labour

Hey Vic, what incentives do I have to vote Labour as a small business owner ? Please can you or anyone on here tell me. I can't seem to find any.

He doesnt want your vote.

He does however want your business handed over to your workforce and your profit shared between them and the state.

You of course will accept all of this and just go along for the ride and if not, well, your just a right wing Tory twat anyway so fuck you.

I think that's how its going to work under McDonnell and McCluskey.

Another delusional and ultimately disappointed voter. Excellent.

Economical circumstances change therefore the optimal level of taxation changes. It's really not difficult to understand is it?

Every time you post anything to do with business & economics you display a complete lack of understanding about the subjects.

What's worse though is that you don't actually want to learn about these subjects as the conclusions you may reach might differ from your blinkered viewpoint.
Some of the questions and statements made by him and others on that side thought mate are so staggeringly stupid that I really suspect they know full well they are talking bollocks, but are merely trying to defend indefensible positions. Apart from Bigga and IfIwasonly... of course. They just have no clue.

you’ll have to elaborate because your one liners might as well be encrypted lol
If you don't know what delusional nor disappointed means mate, I refer you to my assessment of your two chums named above. Delusional in that much of your thinking is misaligned with reality and disappointed because you're winning fuck all on the 12th.

Tbh I only read the post I was replying to. I never actually addressed a post of yours until you replied to me today

any business owner small or big has the responsibility to look after their employees and adhere to currently employment law and workers rights. If you’re gonna be an arsehole and pay a shit wage and bully new mums about their maternity rights then quite possibly your business is going to go down the shitter. Unhappy employees don’t usually perform as well as those who feel they are valued.

Which party are going to force new mothers back into work after 3/4 weeks?

None.

legislation says maternity pay and minimum wage is paid.

Its yet more free stuff promised by labour and some just want the free stuff, despite it being at a cost to others.

"Its someone rich paying so who cares"?

Ok you just don't get it, but i guess its not your fault you cant see the bigger picture Bob. However , let me give it one last shot. I think we are a good employer, we have profit share for all staff and work a 9 day fortnight, we treat our employees very very well. We are flexible and im clearly not against better conditions for employees, I'm not against increased paternity leave on its own, but it is another issue that I will have to deal with and more importantly the point of my post was that all those things inacted together would ruin my business and undoubtedly hundreds of thousands of others aswell. It amounts to economic ruin on a massive scale.

I can understand people not wanting to vote Tory, the choice isn't great at the moment. But for God's sake just don't vote Labour. This lot will economically ruin this country.

You see what I mean by delusional? Where on earth did you get from Churchlawton, "paying a shit wage and bullying new mums from"? He said no such thing.

it’s a uk election not a US election, no party is going to force you to go back to work after 3 weeks

Hey Vic, what incentives do I have to vote Labour as a small business owner ? Please can you or anyone on here tell me. I can't seem to find any.

I'm a business owner and I'm voting Labour because I want to stop Brexit, I want the poorer members of society to be looked after and I'm horrified at what a set of massive, duplicitous, lying, manipulative, low-intellect pieces of shit are now running the Tory party. They are my incentives.

where did I say a party was going to do that ? You don’t half miss the point.
The poster I replied to bemoaned having to endure an extra 3 months of maternity leave. I mean that’s pretty low if you ask me. But I guess he could avoid the possibility of such an occurrence and only employ men if the prospect horrifies him.

You probably just want to argue for arguments sake so I won’t address your silly question as it’s completely irrelevant since I didn’t say any political party would reduce the length of maternity leave.

my point is, if most business owners had their way and weren’t made to by law then they would for the most part have it similar to America where there is no maternity leave or paid holidays.

and I’m someone who’s spent the last year posting on pregnancy forums, talking to the Americans in my group they spend the majority of their pregnancy working extra hours and sometimes double shifts so that they can save enough money to cover the time they have off “unpaid” with their new baby. I realise who lucky I am nowadays because with my 2nd I had 6 weeks off and it was the most stressful thing I’ve had to do and that was leaving him with my mum. She died when he was 15 months old so I quit my job because I couldn’t leave him with a stranger due to severe anxiety.

our employment laws are the envy of the world.

Congrats on the new baby.

Corbyn waving documents marked official and sensitive around again for the press.

Surely you should vote Lib Dem, it would seem to suit your reasons better?
