Strange how he opted for al this crossing recently. So many crosses into the box, low and high both, low ones 90% of time doesnt beat the defender even, high ones we are trying to find midgets in box between strong, tall defenders.

I mean David Silva jump up and arrive for a cross for a header between Maguire and McTominay? Utter fuck...

Nothing about this season suggests that we are in transition. No younger players are getting a chance, we are insisting on the exact same game plan as the previous seasons and we are still heavily relying on David Silva and Fernandinho, both of whom may not be here next season.

Yes decline. We’re not as good as the previous two seasons on every possible metric.

I never actually expected that consistency to carry on, the past two seasons have been freakishly exceptional. However, I did expect a carry on of City and Liverpool being a cut above the rest.

That hasn’t materialised and we far closer to United and Spurs’ level than Liverpool.
 
He just seems flat like our team.

I don’t see him staying beyond this season.

break it down we need about 5 class players I can’t see him staying to rebuild it over another 3 seasons

the club have truly fooked up not replacing key players from mancinis team.

The spine of the team has gone. Kompany, fern, d silva & Aguero. Ridiculous we still rely on these players who look knackered

we have no energy in the team

Don’t want him to leave as I believe he has earned time to try to set us in course. But if we had to get another manager then Nagelsmann is the only right answer. He is considered a prodigy amongst managers.
 
He's earned his right to not be harsh to him, though this season looks appalling and he regularly drops bollocks. I trust him about being much better next year.

Oh FFS. We’ve had to play without Kun; Laporte; Sane; Zinchenko. No other team would have coped as well as we have so far.

we can’t win the league every year - & we’ve still got 3 cups to win - to add to the one we’ve already won.

One thing is certain & that is Pep won't be getting sacked. It will be his decision when he goes and that will be when he thinks he can't achieve his goals with us. He does look very subdued and his body language isn't great but he may decide he wants to be around to rebuild the squad and go again.
