He will improve them... i'd take him as back up but he's NOT better than Stones or Laporte. It's called inflation. Also Maguire is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Only 2 clubs were interested. We said £60m max, ManUre said £80m & it's a done deal. It's Leicester who set the price, & ManUre who agreed to it, so this has no bearing on Maguire's ability or lack of ability.

I think it’s a good move and it should have happened in the summer but Ben white would be my first choice as we could pick him up for £30-40 mill now instead of £80 plus in 2 windows time .

Fine for a 3rd/4th choice CB, but he’s not even close to what we need alongside Laporte in the starting XI. Need to have higher ambitions.
