How fantastic for the US Steel Industry.Any cursory investigation into the costs of producing a wind turbine, would make Trumps point very easy to understand,200 to 230 tonnes of steel and that's just for starters it gets much worse, disappointing but true
And the 25th!!That 22nd amendment is really out of date and should be repealed.
Wind turbines are made in China and Germany , if you have a coal mine 4 miles from a power station then its a resource that should always be an option, and work is ongoing into carbon capture from the emmisionsHow fantastic for the US Steel Industry.
The 25th? Is that the ‘No serving President should ever report for a press conference in a ginger toupee’ amendment? And the 25th!!

What bollocks. You’ve just quoted Trump’s speech. Didn’t you know that every time he opens his mouth he lies?Wind turbines are made in China and Germany , if you have a coal mine 4 miles from a power station then its a resource that should always be an option, and work is ongoing into carbon capture from the emmisions
Am I correct in thinking the wind turbine industry in the USA employs a large amount of military veterans?Just in case we're in for a few pages on this topic . . .

The three largest makers by far are German, Danish and American. And Siemens (#1) is in part so high because of a merger with Gamesa, a Spanish company.
Granted this data doesn't say WHERE the turbines are made/assembled, though descriptions indicate worldwide plants (and likely hundreds of subcontractors who could be anywhere).

Just done a quick search. No idea. I do some work with one of the large fiberglass blade subs so the Germany and China thing didn’t make sense to me but I don’t know much about the US turbine side. Wouldn’t surprise me though.
Him and the idiots that quote him thinking he’s genuine.Just done a quick search.
The WaPo says there are over 100,000 people employed in the U.S. wind industries. I've done a search for veterans jobs in the industry, and there are loads.
Just demonstrates how out of touch with reality Trump really is.
