True. But all they are doing is making themselves look foolish. Fans are not stupid: the majority of them know more about the game than those in the media - writers, pundits and TV presenters. They know a poor player when they see one, no matter what the so-called 'experts' try to tell them.
The only genuine exception to this are most of the rag fans, the plastics. Most of them are laughably devoid of any real footballing knowledge. Trying to discuss the game with the average glory hunter is akin to the late Stephen Hawkins trying to discuss the intricacies of the solar system with a coke-addled Kerry Katona. Everything they have ever learnt about the game has been taught to them by that nauseating slug Custis and all the other incredibly biased journalists we have in this country.

But as I say, genuine football fans know a poor player when they see him (most fans will have experienced that, I'm sure!), despite what the scarcely articulate tabloid writers try to tell them.
The stuff that appears on Caf is an indication they know nothing about themselves.
Recent examples:
‘Weve had the highest average league attendance since WWII’ - err no, there’s 21 years you didn’t , including 1993. See http://european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/league/manu.htm
Top 10 every year since WWII, yes. Which is a good stat (since WWII)

‘City have always been more of a second division team’ - yes, those FOUR extra years we’ve spent in div2 more than them are an indication of that...

I think that’s what gets me, their seemingly never ending use of the words ‘always’ and ‘forever’ and they don’t get pulled up by their own supporters as to the Fantasy. Surely there must be one of them who knows their own history?

‘Always’ and ‘never’ are words I like to pounce upon whenever I can be arsed engaging with these fuckwits. United fans’ lack of knowledge about their own club is usually pitiful. I’ve only met a handful of non-matchgoing united fans whose knowledge of their club’s history compares with mine, a fucking City fan ffs! The key is moving the debate into their zone of discomfort i.e. pre-1992.

Frequently the source of great entertainment, especially as I revel so much in being a fucking know-all.

"Pogba is the best all round midfielder in the world".

Sounds like Ole has been at the mulled wine a little early this festive season.

Greetings lurking raggies, it is only one day until Christmas and only 7 before Pogba does one from your rancid club.

Let him stay there and stink the fucking place out, whilst simultaneously bleeding the Glazers dry.

Oh I would love the toxic shite to stay but he has come to an agreement to be injured/ill for the best part of 2 months, if Woody has managed to cook something up he really is a double agent that works for us.

The rent boy has also said that they aren’t as far along as he thought they would be by now.

I wonder why that is. Crap manager, perhaps?

Eighth is the new sixth!

Funny thing is this just half-joke. If you think about it, if Rodgers is staying at Leicester and if Everton improve under Ancelotti, the Europa-chasing pack gets more competitive.

Manchester United don't realize how much on the precipe they are. They should be even more panicky than Arsenal, because Arsenal gonna Arsenal, but these are still living off their "brand" and "purchasing power". I suppose $200M for Sancho and $150M for Haaland and $100M for Maddison will return them to their status as the best team in England.

I,m.....pretty sure i spied an attendance figure at the swamp recently very very well short of capacity....there may well be trouble ahead... only a few short weeks left now to the usa rag stock exchange quartlerly report...a date that just so happens to coincide with the munich air disaster anniversary...never miss an opportunity to entwine Death with Money.
Stay classy rags...stay 8th.
To all lurking rags.Merry Xmas and Happy New Fear.

The default position of rags when Blues demonstrate that they actually know far more about their own club's history than they do is that we're obsessed instead of realising that it they who are woefully ignorant.
