I thought it was just me! I went on laptop earlier and I ended up disabling it as I was getting loads of them too. It only served to make more messages appear!

I use an ad blocker on my PC and phone but make exceptions to sites I regularly use.

As I think it's only fair that they get something (however minor) back in return for all the time I enjoy on their sites.
