Who should take penalties if Haaland is not on the pitch?

If we look across town their penalty taker for many a year was Denis Irwin. Not ‘cos he was billy big bollocks, but because he was cool and collected and the best penalty taker.

So Gundogan for me too.

Indeed. And even with the ‘best front 3 there’s ever been’ Milner takes them all when he’s on the pitch, no argument.
 
Seems to me to be an opportunity for half time entertainment. Score 3 out of 3 against Moonchester and you are on the bench as designated penalty taker. Can't do much worse than some of the ones we have seen of late

Absolutely. Doesn’t matter who you are, what position you play in or how big your name... whoever the best penalty taker on the pitch is, should take it.

Gundo has looked very good from the spot and has been on the pitch for the most part of 2019 so should be the taker.
 
2 very important misses were the Liverpool away(Mahrez) and Spurs away CL(Aguero), the latter proved very costly.

Same. I want him to take the ball but he must have no confidence with penalties, which is baffling considering his striking technique. Has he ever taken one for us in a shootout? Or has he never been on the pitch for one? I can’t remember. The way he wants every free kick, you’d think he’d want every penalty too.

He fancies his chances with free kicks from 20/30yrds (with the odd success) so why not take the pens from 12yrds with no wall
 
Surely Pep nominates a penalty taker and a back up before the match ? Raz seemed to be indicating he did not want to take the second penalty but no one stepped forward. We lack good penalty takers but we also lack a leader who would sort something like this out.

I was screaming at the telly when he stepped up for the first one! He's terrible at penalties. I'm sure I saw Pep furiously gesturing for someone else to take the 2nd one. I mean FFS, he hit the 2nd one that badly that the keeper was probably shocked how shit it was, dived past it and knocked it back into his path. He got very lucky and shouldn't be anywhere near them in future.

I'd have Ederson taking them ahead of him.
