The Labour Party

No, you are being illogical, you are effectively saying that Labour need to carry on attacking the Tories on
Brexit, they don't, they need to embrace it, support it, and assist in it succeeding. They do this with a leader that's
not wedded to infantile student politics, and is not, and has not, had a career of constant carping, and shouting about
how evil they are. The populace will go with someone like this, Brexit has happened, it is pointless now 'Taking the
Tories to account' over it, it needs embracing, then the party can attack the Tories on other policy matters.
The Tories don't need Labour to embrace anything. They've got a majority of about 80 so they can get through whatever they want. There is nothing Labour can do to embrace, support, assist, frustrate or stop Brexit. It's happening and it's happening in exactly the way the government will negotiate irrespective of what Labour do. The Tories will own it full stop. Labour need to be in a position that they can make sure everybody knows it.

Maybe i dont understand it - but maybe you dont understand that you need broad popular appeal to win a GE and if you dont set out to win one its all a bit pointless. Corbyn has been pointless - a waste of time. Blair you can criticise for what he did as PM but at least he was PM.

Your mantra for Labour...

Without power you can do nothing, in order to get power you have to promise to do nothing, you get power and do mostly nothing, and what little you do manage to do gets binned, once the electorate get pissed off with you doing nothing.

The irony is that Brexit gives Corbyn everything he wanted for the last 25 years.
I suspect Brexit will be neither an abject failure nor a resounding success. How British!

I think in the interests of party unity and not submitting to the demands of the far right BBC Corbyn will be rescinding his resignation.
Far right BBC? Only to a Far left supporter.
To the rest of us the BBC is Remain oriented and slightly left of centre.

The neutral outcome is the most likely I think, but that will be a colossal success as we will be independent again - the main benefit for nearly all Leavers.

A basket of the above mainly based on GDP growth in £ sterling.
That's a bit of a cop out. So if the pound takes a huge hit and it ends up like the 1922 German Mark, GDP in £ sterling could grow by thousands of percent but it would be practically worthless, however Brexit would be deemed a success? (By the way, I'm exaggerating for effect and not suggesting that there's going to be a total collapse of the pound).

That is absolutely the position of January 2020

I am not sure though that anyone in this country should just set aside and forget what the Labour stooges have spent 3 years doing - neither committed to one path or the other

You post as if the current Labour leadership should now just recieve some kind of accolade and are deserving of enormous respect - are they fuck, they deserve nothing but contempt.

What it is necessary to make sure the entire country is fully aware of though - is just what a bunch of self-serving cunts they have been for over 3 years. It should also be made resoundingly clear that if the country had not so thoroughly rejected them they would be spending more months and years fucking the country over

What the entire country needs to be made fully aware of is that these fuckers that have hijacked the Labour Party should be utterly rejected. No traditional/genuine Labour supporters should forget and be lulled into supporting this hijacked party at the ballot box until there are signs that the party is ridding itself of all remnants of both the extreme left and those fuckers responsible for their fucking up of Brexit - like Starmer and Thornberry

Hopefully kier starmer will be next. He can soak up five years of abuse from the sun and the mail before labour pick a real leader to fight the next GE.

What a bizarre post.
I suspect that I have been as critical of the Labour leadership as anyone on this forum and hold Corbyn and his cronies fully responsible for their part in enabling Brexit to happen by their lacklustre opposition to it in the 2016 referendum campaign and their piss poor tactics over the last few months when they could have brought down the government and dealt with Brexit in a short term alliance with the other parties, then called the election this year after a second ref. To say I'm implying that Labour should receive some kind of accolade is just fucking garbage and suggests that your memory and comprehension skills are sadly lacking.
However that pales into insignificance when it comes to the final sentence. How the fuck can you blame Labour for fucking up Brexit when a) it hasn't happened yet and b) the WA and subsequent trading arrangements are entirely the responsibility of the Tory government with the negotiations with the EU fully in their control. Sounds like you're getting your excuses in early.
Labour are clearly a shambles and need to get rid of their current leadership so that they can effectively carry out the role of HM Opposition by making the government accountable to the people, however if Brexit is a fuck up (which hopefully it won't be but I strongly suspect it will be) there is only one direction to point the finger of blame.

Could not be arsed reading that

I am used to your contributions being mainly snide one-liners - so was shocked to see paragraphs - I doubt that this is anything other than more bollocks

Based on your track record you wouldn't have understood it anyway.

I think he was referring to Labours brexit policy, which was a total fuck up, not understood by the electorate.
