It's amazing what a hundred years and a bulldozer can do!

I went to one in Liverpool over Christmas called Viva Brazil... the food was fantastic. Don't go too heavy on the pasta / salad etc that you can help yourself to before the meat arrives. Leave as much room as possible for the meat.

I don't know lol its slaughter side of it I don't like. No stunning to the animal.

The majority of UK halal meat is stunned before slaughter and stunning is permissable under the practice.

Taste wise there is no difference tbf.

I cannot really comment on whether sliting a cows throat while live is barbarism, I have boiled lobsters and crabs alive before in work equally as cruel.

doesnt taste different, but i think as a method of slaughter it inflicts unneccesary suffering on the animal

It was some years ago but I thought Bem Brasil was pretty poor tbh - never been back. It you’ve downed a few pints it’ll be okay I’m sure. The meats were hit and miss (some nice some sub standard scrag ends).

It's fun to go once. Try and be choosy on what you eat. The cheaper cuts tend to come around more often than the pricier ones. As said above don't fill up on the salad bar.
