will wait till first leg see how we do.if were in with a chance ill try and get me my daughter and grandson a ticket.if they've managed to shift them all and I cant get a ticket ill watch on telly.

Or are they that confident we've now got enough tourists and day trippers to replace priced out local City fans?

The first leg score will have a massive effect on ticket sales.

if City get soundly beaten, there will be lots of empty seats on the night.

And the crowd and atmosphere Pep constantly craves for a CL night at the Etihad won't happen again.

Hahaha!! How strange. We’ve played Madrid before, and it was all very meh. CL is meh. The entire thing is meh. All IMO, and if we were the same it would be rather boring. I’d throw away the CL right now to get to the final of the Carabao cup, let alone win it.

Over hyped , load of old fixed bullshit cup competition where you can lose 3 or 4 games & still win it , I take it you’ve not been kicked out of your seat for the ‘uefa football family’ . Premier league , fa cup , league cup then.....we’ll actually I wouldn’t go if it was free to get in .

We could win the League Cup before we even play the second leg. So no need to do that.

if we won the CL there will be fans in the streets celebrating it at the Parade if we won the Carabao they wouldn't even be a parade very clear what most would rather win and clear what's the 4th rate trophy

If the Carabao was more important to you than the FA Cup, I’d have thought you’d have learned how to spell it! ;-)

Surely, at worst, it’s PL, CL, FAC, Carabao, no?

Tbh, I really, really want us to win the CL this year, esp considering that’s what Pep and the ownership so desperately want.

I think it is small-minded of City fans to act like they are above wanting to win it, because it is the best club trophy in world football...by a stretch! Not to mention David Silva has that one solitary space in his pantheon of world football honors. I’d hate to think he’d given his best years to us and never won it when he could have walked into other teams that have.

Plus, what better way to send a message to UEFA than winning their most prestigious trophy?

Last year it was there for the taking and we didn’t do it, and next year (Pep, Ferna, Sergio’s last???) would be a serious pressure cooker.

The PL is gone, so I’d gladly give up the FA Cup and Carabao Cup to win the CL EVERY season.

I wouldn't. If it was the semi-final of the CL I might. There's a still a way to go in the CL.

I do agree with your general argument. You can't cater for all football fans but for 99% of football fans the priority is the PL and then the CL and I am sure it is the same with City and the players.

Who gives one. If it’s real or Barcelona. I refuse to ripped off and thousands of fans will have been priced out.

I’d rather pay cheaper tickets and go to semi final or Fulham at home.

I’ll refer to it as the league cup! Ha!

I think it’s slightly small minded to think that everyone thinks the same or has the same opinion. I didn’t think this opinion would be so out there.

My priorities remain as above. Of course I’d love to win the CL, as any trophy, but there are three trophies I’d prefer to win in front of it. Just my preference is all.

These ticket prices are indicative of the competition itself. Give me united semi final and a trip to Wembley in February (I’ll travel on the Saturday smart arsed), and the fulham game over this shite any day
