He does . He left his man

Sorry but if you're blaming Gundogan for the goal then you literally don't have a fucking clue. This is really basic stuff.

Gundogan does exactly what he's supposed to do, after the first ball goes in, pushes up so that all of those Palace players are offside....or at least they would be if everyone did their job like Gundogan. Someone fucks up, and its the ginger bloke who is rooted to the floor staring at the ball and playing them all onside.

If you've looked at the replays to work out who is to blame and landed on Gundogan...go watch a different sport.

Palace are too good defensively to let us back into this easily. We need Mahrez as a moment of magic is the only way we are scoring, the team is not clicking.

Rodri for Silva
Jesus for Sterling
Mahrez for Bernardo

play 343:

Ederson

Stones
Rodri
Fernandinho

Cancelo
KDB
Gundogan
Mendy

Mahrez
Aguero
Jesus

Bernardo is wasted out wide. He's far more effective in the midfield 3.

It’s going to be really difficult to get back from this. They’re defending is doing enough because we can’t score.
Gundogan, Merlin and Sterling need to come off. Rodri , Mahrez and Jesus on. Glad I didn’t travel 700+ miles round trip to see us perform like this against a very average Palace.

We have struggled in some games when falling behind, just hope we come out all guns blazing and put palace to the sword second half, get the feeling it could end a draw if we don’t get a quickish goal,as we may start getting frustrated if we don’t ..

Dave adds to the game when he has legs with him,it is a far better option to do that than play gundy,it's been said before a thousand games hat the 2 of them are too slow together, this game dosn't ned pressing
It's not that some games need pressing and some don't, it's how our system works.

2nd half change our tempo and our approach, deploy some subs, we can easily turn the match around. Come on City!

Number of times we have all four attacking players in a straight line is baffling. They must move more to create angles for each other.

And Gundy is conservative so I agree .
But if we also can't defend the high ball into our box then we are going to inevitably concede .
Kevin actually played 2 players onside for their goal but it's not his fault really because we have not defended the first header
It's his and Stones fault. He should have stepped up like Gundogan.
