Fulham (H) - FA Cup Round 4 Post-Match Thread

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been speaking to BBC Sport and it sounds as though he is not particularly impressed with the attendance at today's game.

The official crowd at the Etihad was announced as 39,223.

"It was not full. I don't know why," said Guardiola.

Speaking about Wedesday's Carabao Cup semi-final second leg with Manchester United, Guardiola added: "It gives a chance to go back to Wembley. Hopefully they will support us more."

I've played football for 35 years pal, he made an absolute meal of it and he rolls around far to often.

Soft twat stands.
As have I, as a languid DM, so I’ve had it done to me quite a few times, and have quite literally seen two players’ Achilles snap, and that’s a sore one every day of week and twice on Sundays.

Whether he’s rolled around before has absolutely no bearing on this incident.

Again, blues slagging players for being on the end of a bad challenge...

39.000 not great to see it splattered over & over again but I guess they have to have a dig at us even after a 4-0 win..

Funny how the camera position up hi had to be shown at the end of the game when most who came today were either leaving or about 2 leave yet Old Trafford cameras always keep it low on the pitch or just showing a few rows up..

It doesn't bother me much anymore we know we have a problem filling the ground each week or Cup games etc but does the ticketing need looking at with the League Cup Semi 2nd leg coming up & Christmas just gone??

guessing you didn’t even go. No point in you even commenting from your armchair

Everyone isn't a multi millionaire Pep. People forget even if it's a tenner a ticket you have to then add the travel costs at the very least on top. It's a Sunday, every form of transport is reduced, early kick off and live on tv. Did he say the same when the Barcelona ground was half empty? Almost 40k is a good crowd, they want to get in the real world these football people.

i rewound it. ref blew up for the cancelo injury on 89:56. play restarted at 92:20 and he blew up for full time at 92:29.

I know, I always put my stop watch on at 90 mins & was waiting for them to say how long. Was watching the timekeeper/fourth official to put the time up and nothing!! When play restarted after the injury he just turned & walked toward the tunnel. Weird.

We did what was required. It’s odd these refs never play added time in our games.

It's frustrating to say the least but Fulham were never getting back in the game and why risk an injury to anyone.

If the game was level i suspect he would have played at least 3 minutes.

Not Pep's finest comment, being honest.

Did you also roll around slapping the floor and crying in agony?

That kind of reaction is reserved for when you actually do your Achilles - not a fucking scrape down it.

No one is saying it doesn't hurt but that was complete fanny behaviour and needs to be called out as such, regardless of the fact he's a Blue.

Just when I thought Pep ‘got’ us a bit more. Poor comments.

just like the other Spaniards who run the club - pep doesn’t understand our support. No connection with us

I haven’t been paid in six weeks now, so it’s very difficult to attend.

Because the snide fucking reporter has asked trying desperately to make it a story.

He needs to wind his fucking neck in. Sick of him having a pop like this.

He doesn’t have a fucking clue what it’s like for most people to live month to month.

The majority of people will not have been paid since before Xmas yet and we have two cup games in 3 days.

he has said "i dont know why", nothing more.

Dont fall for the narrative the BBC have put on it nor the snide reporter who has asked the question in the first place.
