sorry Ric, was it ever mentioned on MOTD about us making the league uncompetitive?

if it was peddled via MOTD then they were trying to spread it to the masses is my point.
 
I'm sure the Rags won that world club thing a couple of times but I'm certain they didn't get called World Champions as much as this Liverpool team.

Their league record over the last two seasons absolutely overshadows that stupid no mark trophy.

No one gave a fuck when United won it, and no one (other than Liverpool fans) gives a fuck now. Calling themselves World Champions is deeply tragic.
 
I’m just disappointed at the disparity of reporting.

And through that disparity, it identifies a huge gulf.

it’s not fair, boo hoo I know, but it’s not right.

I wouldn’t mind Rabin highlighting this to the stewards of the press and awaiting their well thought out, defensive response.

It does not mean our standards have dropped to other teams standards at all, I think you ought to decide whether liverpool are luckier or better? because the stats say City are better even with VAR, and VAR could quite easily count for 16 points but we will never know as someone cheated,

He’s an arrogant and disrespectful twat. Hope Shrewsbury turn them over. I’ve said it before but if we win a treble of cups it’ll eclipse their best season ever again.

I think Klopp is right to challenge the FA on this. What a bloody shambles. The authorities organise a winter break (six weeks too late) and then schedule replay dates in the middle of it. This could easily happen to us next season. Someone has to take a stand. The FA has destroyed its own cup trophy because of its greed. Kick-off times, semi-finals at Wembley, treating fans with contempt. It's not that long we were forced to field the kids at Chelsea because of a match in Kiev 48 hours later. People can slag off Pep and Klopp for "not getting so-called English football traditions" but I think they are 100 per cent right to call out the FA. It's a shit organisation.

No, because despite being European and 'world' champions they are still too small time and klopp is too much of a shithouse to try and do what we achieved last year. Probably threw in the towel on the domestic cups when they lost the charity shield. Mard arse ****s.

The whole problem in football is there are too many organisations FA, Pl, EFL & Conference then UEFA & FIFA they all want and need income So the PL organise a break but the only way to fit it into the schedule is to ignore the possibility of FAC replays The managers are the only ones who have the players wealth fare to consider Too many competitions and so too many games

He wouldn't pick his first team anyway, just like hasn't in any domestic cup games this season. He's using that as an excuse. Agreed about the FA though, it's run by idiot's.

It pains me to defend Klopp because he has been a bit of a coward with his cup team selections in the past. And whatever LFC fans say winning a treble of trophies is a major achievement and I would have thought most Liverpool fans would want to win one, if only to shut up the Rag fans. That said the FA is a total disgrace in the way it has neglected the FA Cup and on this occasion I would support Klopp.

Surely it's more tragic that EVERY broadcasting network that I've heard commentary of a RedScouse match on since they won their little-gold-iron-on-badge/cup have repeated this nonsense ad infinitum, has post irony set in, or do you think that these broadcasters are all secretly laughing at them behind their backs at how "small time" they're being?
