So the FA Cup, the oldest, the biggest and the best domestic cup competition in the world isn't good enough for Herr Klopp! Wow some arrogance that.
I wonder if VVD, Salah and Mane will stick around. I've noticed that their decent players, I'm thinking Suarez and Coutinho, for example, tend to fuck off at the earliest opportunity. Seems to me they'e never had world class players like Aguero, Silva and Kompany that have loved the club enough to spend their careers there. Not that I blame them.
It was always scheduled for that week if there was a replay. The fact they couldn’t beat shrewsbury and need a replay should be his main concern. Smacked arse prick springs to mind.Have the fa scheduled the scousers replay v the shrews in the middle of the February break?
Sounds about right from them dinosaurs.
I think Klopp's done the right thing regarding his first-team players. Only the English FA could schedule replays in the middle of a winter break. It's farcical.
However, the break is there for his players to get some rest, not him. He can pick whatever players he wants for the replay, but for him to refuse to manage them is ridiculous.
Also, the timing of this break is fucking stupid, with players having already been run into the ground over the last 6 weeks. Reducing the insane workload over Christmas/New Year would have been far more beneficial for the players' welfare than this belated token gesture.

They don't need to introduce a break at Christmas (and I wouldn't want them to). Just take two games out of the schedule and play them in this February window that they've magically managed to create.Money talks. Never going to have a break at Christmas.
There was a massive outrage when we played the kids against ChelseaI sometimes think it’s a bit mardy when our fans say “imagine if we did this” about certain things but in this case I think it’s very true. There would be absolute outrage in the media if Guardiola said that. Be interesting to see how it’s reported tomorrow.

Agree with everything you've said, but it was the Premier League that scheduled this break and insisted that teams must not play any games, not the FA. You're absolutely right that it's farcical that the FA and PL aren't on the same page regarding this.I think the point is that The FA have introduced a 'mid season' break, where all teams will have the same time off, although staggered so not at the same time. The FA have then written to clubs asking that they respect the break, and not to schedule any friendlies etc during that time, as the break is designed to benefit the players and clubs by allowing some time off. They then schedule FA cup replays during the break..... It is farcical.
