United Home League Cup Tickets

Indeed, also in hundreds of years time Voyager(s) is set to return to our orbit.
If you can stomach a bit of 'classic' sounding Prog Rock, BIg Big Train have an epic on this story (called Voyager!) on their lastest Grand Tour cd release.
Neither Voyager craft will ever return to the solar system. I think they are in what is called a hyperbolic trajectory which means they are influenced by the Sun but not bound by the Sun

Last night I watched the documentary "The Farthest" on Prime video. It tells the story of the Voyager space mission which, amazingly was launched in 1977. It tracks the progress of the two spacecrafts as they pass Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. After completing those flypasts and gathering data they then continued beyond the solar system and are to this day, travelling ever deeper into interstellar space. It's a very poignant thought that long after we are dead, those space ships will still be travelling.
And they'll still be trying to buy tickets for the Real Madrid game!

Which am I, as I travel over 2 hours to get to the stadium, so hardly local, been going for 57 years , so not a day tripper,
We need to realise every fan is different and as long as they behave and make some noise their history of City supporting is irrelevant.

The opposition, night match and our great team should ensure a decent atmosphere.

I am sure pep was meaning the atmosphere and not the numbers. Have a good one.

I never said those City fans who drive for 2 hours are day trippers. I appreciate there are loads of City fans who live outside Manchester. My point being, as it's a League Cup game, and it's Midweek, regardless of it being United, the vast majority of City fans will be local, with very few (overseas) City fans, and local living foreign football fans watching the match. The ticket criteria has made sure of that as well. Compare that to the Real Madrid game. The stadium will be full of tourists and day trippers, with half and half scarfs flying off the shelf.

I think you are right to some degree we are travelling 600 mile round trip for both tomorrow and the RM match and I agree it's a high chance the RM will be loads of half and half dont think there will be many tomorrow !!

Not full, just some, the majority of tickets went on the day they became available to matchday cityzen buyers , people like me. Not sure it even went on general sale, could have done though. Some people seem a bit too dissapointed it's sold out after getting angry about the prices and predicting it wouldn't sell much at all until we saw the first leg score.

2741 left in EL3 and WL3. At least that's what it says online but does that match the real situation?

If it's real expect sales to continue at that pace until this evening. If it's City messing about prioritising certain blocks over others, dealing with 3rd parties and distributing tickets themselves then sales will be stop start.

How do you view the actual amount of seats left to be sold?

Official!

The last minute rush is well and truly on.

All NS blocks have now sold out. Level 3 blocks in the CL and ES are also selling fast.

If they greyed out blocks have really sold out, and aren't only greyed because City are trying to push L3 blocks, we could be closing in on a sell out.

I'll keep updating via my iPAD screen grabs over the next 24 hours.

Now.

good shout.

just wanted to add with regards to the behaving part.

I know plenty of those who are involved in the other side of football (i was to until i changed) and they are city mad. harsh to think they dont count,

Never checked the seats left in the L3 blocks.

Loads left.

Don''t think we'll sell out, but we should be around the 54,000 figure, give or take.

i am very surprised this has not sold out, but i am sure those that are there will make enough noise and cheer the team on to Wembley.

It's not clear that the tickets have been sold but they are no longer online. The numbers in L3 haven't significantly changed for a long time which makes me wonder whether the seats are selling or whether some were just taken offline to concentrate on selling the big blocks with the empty seats.

I think the rate they've been selling at since yesterday morning might just see it sell out
Assuming they are sales. They maybe.

On the morning of the Port Vale game there were only hundred or so single seats on the plan but the attendance was 52k not 54k. There's also the Directors box, Tunnel club, and all the hospitality sections.

I think we'll do well now to get to 50k. That will do for me seeing as Utd had 5,000 empty seats in their end plus City fans, and then the tie was very much alive.
