Did you see who wrote the report?

Simon fucking Stone! What else should we expect?
Yep. He's already had to change his match report to not state that the seats were being ripped out in the city end. But he's still got two sub headlines there of Room for Improvement for City and Plenty of Positives for United. Whilst I agree we certainly need to improve, I struggle to see the positives for them? Might make the Europa League? Avoid an extra game and travelling to London? Can ride their luck on occasion?

Almost makes you think he didn't actually watch the match, but instead got stuck outside and decided to comment on city fans arriving in rush hour to a midweek game five minutes late.

Every press conference I cringe when I hear "Simon Stone, BBC" Wish Pep would just cut him off.. next question. Even a bottom feeder can't survive if you take its food source away.

Have the BBC posted the picture of Fernades in the Yoonitid under 16's squad yet ? As I understand it he is from Wythenshawe and when not playing raggy youth games swept the stretford end to earn a few bob.

The fee paid to Sporting will increase if a series of conditions are met - including United's qualification for the Champions League.

United would pay an additional 5m euros (£4.2m) if they achieve Champions League qualification, with a further 5m euros subject to Fernandes' participation. The remaining payment of 15m euros (£12.6m) is based on individual player prizes.

One of the payments for "individual player prizes" is if he makes five first team appearances

Amused on the train going jome last night. A young rag early 20s was going on about the attack on Woo woos house. He was so bloody serious l found it amusing.
He was saying solemnly the MEC arranged it very quickly online. He was asked what MEC meant and without irony he said it was the Manchester Education Committee the men in black. I had an idea what the real MEC was so this morning l googled it. There were a few references to it being the old name of the Education Offices in Crown Square but there was a big bullshit article on them being the start of the anti Glazer movement blah blah. But what struck me was the way these pompous self important thugs adopted the name with no connection to Manchester and any connection to education and then get themselves a wiki entry. Who the fuck do they think they are, going round threatening Rooney and woowoo and setting themselves up as protection for Griggs's house from reporters when he first got caught out.

What a load of wankers

Trust Ole will be charged then for his post match comments? According to him the sending off was a joke, and the referee showed bias in not booking us for multiple fouls but booking matic for his first foul.

Maybe the pressure is getting to him, or maybe he is remembering the preferential decisions they used to get when he was a player there, but that's some bad loser talk there!

He obviously was suffering from Wengeritis when Matic committed his first three fouls before getting booked, and also when the referee gave him his final warning and also told Maguire that Matic was on a final warning
Even rat face commented on it and said he should be subbed

At the match I thought the ref called over Maguire to warn him over the abuse individual players were giving him but as you say it was to warn him that Matic was close to getting another yellow. When has anyone been warned before, we certainly have never been warned. What a joke.

I actually thought it was good reffing and he took so long in telling Matic and Maguire that the paperboy has absolutely no excuse

The rent boy should have gone to Specsavers if he thought there was no contact for the second yellow. It was as clear as day that Matić's knee caught Mahrez.

Refs often have words with the captain about players, I've no problem with that, the fact that he ignored it, is his own stupidity. You could actually see friend hold his finger and thumb very close when he was talking to maguire, after he'd been booked already earlier for the foul on Mahrez, and he pointed to the other 3. matic was warned along with maguire, so he knew what was coming. I was disappointed after that Micah wanted to defend him, he committed 5 fouls, was booked for the second I think, warned after the fourth, so little surprise he got the red for the 5th one.

And the 5th was a yellow card offence in itself
