This possible Ighalo signing is utter desperation stuff, his best seasons have been in the spanish second division, and china, they'd be better off putting phil jones up front, are we sure woodward isn't a blue ?

They best have extra patrols outside Woodward’s house tonight that’s for sure. It’s hilarious just how wank they are becoming.
 
They had to gamble to be fair but only because of the suicidal stupidity in selling Lukaku and not replacing him.

When Rashford picked up an injury they should have prioritised getting a striker in because their current forward line minus Rashford is as weak as anything in the Premier League.

Yeah but who? Chelsea, Spurs and Barca have also been looking for a striker and failed.

Phil might be effective upfront. If he’s as unpredictable in the other teams box as he is in his own he’d cause chaos and his ugly mug would terrify any keeper or defender with any modicum of sight.

Because they are looking for long term replacements whereas Utd have a short-term crisis (of their own making).

Cavani, Mertens, Jovic, Bale. Maybe not all available but go through all the top squads in Europe and pay through the nose. That was more important than signing fernandes because if you don't get CL football next season the era of £150m plus transfer spend will be over.

Well the long-term solution was Haaland but Raiola meant that went tits up. The situation will be revisited in the summer with a long-term striker targeted, most likely Moussa Dembele. For now we just need a body.
