Major issues with this team.

they know pep is going or it’s time for a major rebuild.

this is not a pep team!!!!!!

please pep hang then out to dry in the media they are embarrassing you & the club

So the question now is..why is it that teams will most certainly score against us with their only shots on goal

Down to 10 men but the amount of chances we fluff trying that one pass to many is evident

We aren’t winning fcuk all this season. Can’t defend at all, can’t even shoot on target. We insist on trying to walk the ball into the goal.
What a waste of time bringing Gabby on now.
Hang your head in shame City players. I’ve seen better finishing from a school team.

This could get even worse.

Players need to take a look at this performance today. Totally dominated and are 2:0 down to a poor side who’ve not been in it. Won’t criticise individual players because collectively it’s unprofessional- and this group of players will know that. We need to lift ourselves because we could end the season with no trophies. A performance like this at Wembley and Villa will beat us... as poor as they are.

Shreeves will be thinking of the ****iest questions he can use to trigger Pep at full time.

"Did tactical fouling by your team finally catch up with you today?"

1st shot on target after completely dominating them, ridiculous.

Things have to change for Real Madrid.

Laporte needed along with attackers that can score.
We will do Madrid 7-1 over the two legs, at some point everything is going to click for us.

We miss too many chances - Missed penalties, easy tap-ins, shooting high and wide, wrong decision-making - That has ultimately been our downfall this season.

There have been so many occasions where Zin and Mahrez could have whipped it in and we could have flooded the penalty area, similar to how Liverpool do it, but we choose to pass backwards instead and it leads to nothing.

Why don't we shoot more low shots - Could be deflections, rebounds, goalkeeper errors or anything else that Liverpool have scored from over and over again this season.
Best post I have seen on a match day thread this season, perfectly sums up 2019-20 season and how we will remember it (if we should choose to remember it!)

To be fair, some posters were getting dogs abuse for calling this exact score in the pre-match thread. Admittedly it may yet get worse

can’t remember the last time I went into a pre-match thread. The season is gone but what needs to happen to help the lads get back to their best next season?

a clear out? A change in the type of players recruited? Average and athletic? Tall and fast?
