a kind of FOM will still exist for the privileged few

@nicktolhurst

Now overwhelming evidence that UK based firm such as consultancies, airlines etc & recruitment agencies are prioritizing UK citizens holding extra European passports for positions requiring EU travel or extended periods in EU. Brexit is creating a privileged elite worker class.

Ah the James O'Brien show where he manages to get brexits version of Talksports City fan, Bert from Stockport on almost every week and some on here lap it up lol.

This man knew what he was voting for - allegedly.

Apparently he only gets Brexit dunces on, not people who know what they’re talking about. You’d think the odd Brexpert would call in occasionally to put O’Brien in his place with it being a live show. Maybe someone like @blueinsa could point us to a clip where an intelligent leaver puts forward a convincing argument for why Brexit is such a great idea that O’Brien struggles to counter. Still waiting for it on here.

Not that it matters anymore as we’re out now. What seems odd is that most Leavers now want to take it a step further and needlessly further damage our economy by distancing ourselves from EU regulations just so that we can pretend we make our own rules for everything.

"We have Bert from Stockport, a City fan on line 3 and he wants to talk about why Pep needs to be sacked and is sick of seeing empty seats every week............hello Bert........"

Hang on a second......you dont think his radio phone ins are 100% legit do you?

So no then.
Ok.

No is indeed the answer.

You ring him and you can both tell each other just how much the clever clogs you are.

He will love it as he seems that type ;-)
Why should I. No one’s interested in a debate between two people with similar opinions.

Why don’t you ring him and tell him why he’s wrong. I’m sure someone will post a clip on here.

You could practice by explaining it on here.

Do you listen to him regularly?

I do. I am sure his producers filter through the prize idiots for ritual disembowelment but then again they are the one's calling the station. Also you have to factor in the show before hosted by Nick Ferrari holds the opposite view and gets some looney Remainers who volunteer to be made a fool of. That to me gives the station a sense of balance - maybe the Remain callers aren't as th....ill informed as the Leavers and don't provide enough red meat for our Leave contingent of Bluemooners to post.

Do you listen to him regularly?

I do and I quite like his show.

They definitely screen through nutters though, like every radio phone in.

It’s quite amusing listening to someone who struggles to string a sentence together whinging about three-pronged plugs no longer being allowed if we stay in.

At the risk of blowing smoke up the arses of cunts on here, yes you’re all cunts, the leavers have better arguments on this forum than anyone I’ve heard on there.

JOB is alright though, he’s a smart guy and has the tools necessary to debate (ie the internet in front of him), if not a little stuck up and egotistical.

Can you point me to a convincing leaver argument on here?
I must have missed it.

Nope - different subject

This will be one of:

1) your memory is shit
2) you are disingenuously twisting the words of others - again
3) your desperation is driving you to seek to score cheap points - no matter how wrong you keep being, or
4) you have joined others by dropping into some stalker/trolling mode

Why this need that some of you have to keep jumping on the posts of some Leavers to try and score cheap points

If not one - or a mixture of the above - just what was the point of your post?

Proper sad stuff IMO

My honest opinion , you are the only troll on here.

I see IKEA are closing a store in Coventry, the first they've closed in the UK.

No doubt it's because Billy bookcases have to be converted from diesel to electric.

Ikea said the store has made a consistent loss since 2007.

This is definitely not Brexit related.

I did actually say they had better arguments than those that call the show.

The people that call the show talk about three-pronged plugs and bendy bananas.

The arguments on here about a further federal Europe and the ability to actually leave the bloc in future are seemingly looking to be true.

The fact that the economy is predicted to outgrow the Eurozone proves some were correct.

Debating the likes of these two examples is better than what JOB has to contend with.

I haven't seen a killer post or anything that approaches it but I think a pretty consistent theme emerges from most posters on here of fundamental future risk to our sovereignty and an unstoppable march to a centralist european union that overrides our own parliament. That there is a fundamental economic risk to individual country's economy from the Euro project. Add to that the inability to trade on our own terms with the rest of the world which is seen as a missed opportunity. That would be the way I would describe it if asked and I put that forward sincerely as my distillation of the Brexit position on here.

I do think the case is made more eloquently on here than it is on the JO'B radio show. At least I understand where posters on here are coming from even if I don't agree with their position.

I listen to James pretty often. Like him a great deal. Like the way he shines a spotlight on stuff that needs a spotlight shone on it, not just Brexit. Find him refreshingly different to most mainstream media and feel he does the kind of challenge that the BBC used to do and have lost in their quest for balance (giving equal air time to lies than they do to truths is not balance imo). Unlike some on here I don't find him arrogant, indeed he comes across as extremely principled and even if you don't agree with him his logic is consistent and I certainly haven't ever caught him lying. For me he embodies what I hold precious in what I thought was the overwhelming DNA of the UK, truth, honesty, compassion, openness to other cultures - that kind of 'old fashioned' stuff.

You could be his agent.
