In the unlikely event that this is true, 2 more British players. Makes me wonder what the puppet they've installed at the PL has agreed to.

It really does make you think that it could happen. Now we are out of Europe we can restrict trade (as far as I am aware) rather than when we were in Europe it had to be open to all Europeans. Put a puppet master in lace and ….
I suppose the only thought against that is the Dips are not doing the same.

Anyone getting suspicious of why they are buying mostly English footballers? Could it be that in the near future there will be a law from FA saying teams have to have a certain amount of English players in all prem league teams?

Just seen an earlier post alluding to the same thing

I'd hazard a guess that they are buying English players because the stellar names in Europe have zero interest in going to utd.
As simple as that.

All clubs will know that the rules are likely to change due to Brexit, and how they are likely to change won't be much of a surprise to anyone. The idea that the FA would brief one club is pretty ludicrous.

If Utd want to blow a huge amount on Grealish and Maddison, they still won't have a proper centre forward or right wing, will have yet another left side attacker, and will have to offload some biggish names; Maddison would help their team though. It's agent talk because there is no actual football to report.
