a few months ago i would have called an article like this nonsense but i find myself somewhat agreeing with it right now. Why aren't garcia or foden playing more games we have nothing to lose the title race has been over since wolves. We have a defensive crisis ottamendi is awful and stones is always missing and when he plays makes mistakes so why isn't garcia playing more.

I think there is when we’re struggling so badly for any consistency. Take the Villa game that was one of the first times recently the majority were happy when the team was announced. We then go and see our best performance in ages and that there is another option on the left instead of Sterling. Jesus and Serge worked really well together and continued their great goal scoring record when playing together. That team hasn’t started since despite the inconsistency continuing. You could argue that was only Villa but we’ve dropped points against plenty of average teams and rarely put in a full 90 minutes performance like that and it’s now bloody February.

Then there is Bernando who has struggled this season out wide as most feel it’s not his best position. He played centrally against the rags and put in a fantastic performance showing his full range of brilliance and fantastic work rate in there that few can match(especially in our midfield). Again the tinkering continues and he’s largely since been on the bench or back stuck on the right. We’ll go into that Madrid game and it’s hard to think Pep knows his best team this year. My biggest worry is he tries something wacky where as for me having watched them a lot they aren’t anything special and we should be looking to take them on because we are better than them.

He improves lots of players but he is not god,he can't improve them all,also we were never buying messi,pep has said it lots of times,northcroft is no fan of pep or city so i don't know why you give it any weight

He used to sign 1 year contracts at barcelona and kept them waiting until nearly the end of each season.

I personally feel 2nd position , further in the later stages of champs league and winning both cups - while being a disappointment is not a disaster considering the many injuries and other factors.

There isn't a lengthy article in any of the gutter press (and that includes every possible publication that calls themselves 'the meedya') that doesn't have a negative slant. There's half a dozen column inches in the DT this morning about the on-going Uefa FFP shenanigans. Other club are provided with a positive vibe if they have an article.

I think that were Pep and City to slide out of the CL places (providing those canutes at Uefa allow us in next season) the club wouldn't sack him. He might suggest that it would be better if he moved on, but the move would be his, not City's.
