Anti UEFA demonstration at Madrid game - whistles ?

But, but, he is only saying more or less what a lot of people have been saying............. they expect us to boo so we're going to do something different. I'm not really sure that he is telling anyone not to boo. He is just saying do something different surely?
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,ha, ha,ha, ha,ha, ha,ha, ha,ha, ha,ha, ha,ha, ha,.............. I really did laugh out loud at that. Made my day @quiet_riot thank you.

Having read the quote again, it wouldn't surprise me if the Fail had dredged up an old quote from when we first started booing.

Still, I'll be booing and I don't appreciate the OSC thinking they are the voice of the masses, if that's the case.

To the tune of Leicesters Fuck off Maguire---

Get Lost UEFA
Get Lost UEFA
You can ban us
You can fine us
But you never will divide us
We're Man City

Get lost can be can be altered!!
C'mon City

@quiet_riot , they sure ain't my voice and I'm glad they are not yours either. I am a Man City supporter and I do what I want, within the law obviously. So I will be whistling................ which reminds me I must root out my whistle. I know it isn't for a while but with my memory I might forget!!! :-)
Well said EB, you are more typical City than parker, and I mean that as a compliment

As this has weeks of preparation - so too have those that will want to stifle it.

Surely given the magnitude of the punishment - the club are going to allow us to express and vent our feelings without fear of any fine from uefa?

Will the club allow the banners in?
Will they allow them to be displayed?
Will showsec and the stewards be informed not to take posters down?

The club have our full support, but any Madrid police style operation to prevent free speech won't go down well.

Kevin will be saying the unofficial line from the club, he's a spokesman without having to have someone of official capacity saying something.

Find it absolutely baffling that people think the club are going to allow a display into the ground. Yeah I know Legia Warsaw have had a big fuck off display but I'd suggest that their ultras have far more control over the club than any fan group have of ours.

We're well entitled to show our anger towards UEFA (and I actually think the atmosphere for the home game will take us over the line through to the quarters) but I think you're living in a dream world if you think City are going to allow a display which has words to the effect of "Fuck UEFA" in the ground.

Seven thousand English pounds raised for a anti-UEFA display without a design and presuming that the club will allow anything of the sort in the ground. I'm angry too and want to make a statement, I don't have the disposable income to fund the mystery box though.

Wow, so it has to go through UEFA too? I have full faith in you lads but i'm very intrigued how you're going to pull off a powerful message whilst also getting approval to get it done.
Yes, I've had it before where we'd agreed to take a banner in through the turnstiles before the game. Had emails off the head honchos at City to confirm it. Stewards wouldn't let it in. I had to open banner in front of a CCTV camera outside the ground (Which is easier said than done when its a 10m banner!!) for someone at UEFA to check it and eventually (after a 20-minute wait) decline entry!

They are so unbelievably strict, which makes me even more impressed when you see the likes of Dortmund and others doing these rediculous displays on a regular basis! We're going to have to be very smart with any ideas, as we all know UEFA will do everything to silence us.

just hire a sniper instead

Thanks again everyone who's donated. We've got meetings in place with club officials, we have contacted various suppliers and a lot of the ground work is well underway for an anti-UEFA demonstration.

Another shameless plug of the fundraiser and then I really have to do some actual work before I get sacked. :)
