The Labour Party

principally lies and bizarre unproven theories that suit the political agenda of the loony left and their 'wokeful' weirdos.
Yeah, making sure that pupils are aware that it was Britain that was the most evil place on earth, that we created slavery, and should be paying billions in reparations for constantly battering the French ;)

Seems like Kier has this in the bag. He's a bit to far left for me but I'd take some one inteligent, commited and capable and a little out of my preferred politicsal spectrum. Competance and ability 1st and I think on that basis he was the best option. Nandy has run a good campaign but given the Labour party is a unquestionably pro EU movement she was always going to struggle. RLB was nothing other than a Corbyn desciple and she and her backers thought that would be all it would take (as did many on here). I actualy think if she had distanced herself from JC and talked up change she could have won this but her insistance that nothing was wrong and more of the same was needed was clealry wrong fron the start and she never changed gear.

This is a step in the right direction - lets see how the deputy vote goes - if Burgon gets it then that is a disaster as he is a muppet, he doesn't have a standout oponent though so the split vote could help him. Beyond that is the composition of the EEC and clealry there are a number on there that will need to resign in due course.

PS gutted for all the numpties on here who convinced themselves RLP was a shoe in and put money on it.

It would seem so, but the fat lady aint singing just yet.

And BTW, don't be gutted. Betting on something at 5/1 when the chances of that horse winning are better tham 5/1 is a good strategy, win or lose.

Weeks to go yet and do not underestimate the lengths momentum and McCluskey etc will go to get their woman into power.

There’s a reason McDonnell was constantly going on about the next leader needing to be a woman, if Corbyn lost.

He knew that he needed RLB to be the Corbyn MKII to continue his hard left project.

He was sowing the seeds back in November.

I'd far rather she won (not least because of the £300 I stand to gain). She's completely unelectable, which is obviously perfect.

Starmer is worry. He's very presentable and credible and doubtless could grab a lot of voters from the middle ground, but I am worried he is a closet Marxist himself, who just keeps it well hidden for political expediency. No-one really knows what he stands for and what sort of politics would ensue if he ever became PM. It would be a total leap in the dark. He could end up being as bad as Corbyn would have been. But with the key difference that he could possibly win, when Corbyn could not.

A strong opposition keeps the gov on their toes though so I hope it’s Starmer.

I'd much rather Starmer, who let's be honest unless Boris is such a catastrophe won't win in 5 years (and if Boris is, then RLB would have equally as strong a chance just out of people lurching) losing more narrowly, which will hopefully signal progress to the Labour party and get them to tiptoe slightly back more to the centre in time for 2030, as opposed to RLB blowing the Labour party into oblivion and killing any form of an opposition, to the point where we have a pointless vote.

He didn't look strong on Peston last night dodging the questions on who's funding his campaign.

To be honest I shouldn't be giving a fuck now.

Is this the start of the momentum campaign against him then?

Accusations of who is funding him?

RLB is the new messiah, all will comply with the momentum agenda, I expect she's at the tailors being measured up for her burlap suit and massive lamp shade hat with red star badge.

I might have it all very wrong but i dont think I have.

Weeks to go and the dirty war will now start in earnest and the left will not let go of its power easily.

If they don't find their own Claus Philipp Maria Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg (To fight her within the party) they'll be left unelectable for a generation.

Huge upset in Clayton and Openshaw. Labour loses to an Independent in council by-election.

Best of it is the blame will be laid at the doors of traditional Labour voters who have finally had a belly full of the party and the fucktards that have taken it over.

I voted RLB for leader and Rayner as Deputy.

Well, it's not a straight vote but a preference thing. RLB then Nandy then Starmer
