Extremely fanciful but attractive scenario. However, if it came to pass, FIFA would pick up the pieces with their world club championship. UEFA would be left with a minor competition featuring small clubs like Bournemouth and Manchester
Oonited.
My tongue was firmly in my cheek when I wrote it KS55 !!

I found it fascinating. I also noted that EUFA’s biggest issue seemed to be getting City to pay their legal fees. They lost that one...
Also, both sides agreed to keep everything from then on, confidential. Might go some way to explaining why City haven’t produced their evidence but doesn’t explain why the hacks can’t work that out for themselves....
The hacks can work it out
They choose to write the wrong shit

The curious case of Zenit st Petersburg

https://theblacksea.eu/stories/foot...inancial-doping-russian-state-football-clubs/

A very long but interesting read.

The main points are Zenit were found failing FFP in 2013 after their Gazprom deal( who are one of Uefas main sponsor) was found to be massively overinflated(around £100M.)

Over the course of 3 years Zenit kept moving money around to say they didn't fail and then their lawyers found a mysterious clause which said they could be an extra £20M over FFP rules as Russia was an emerging Football national.

The only time any kind of ban since then is the stadium fan ban for displaying racist banners.

Where was the World Cup held in 2018? I think we all know that.

Who is Zenits most famous fan?
It doesn't take a genius to work that out either.

If CAS cleared City of all charges and we had the chance to sue One and only one organisation or person who would you choose from. United, Liverpool, Bayern, Gill, Tebas, Leterme, Simon Jordan, Der Spiegel ,Daily Mail.

PB explained that while we didn't admit guilt in 2014, it was more prudent and less time consuming to accept a.minimal chastisement and move on. That's why the chairman referred to it as a "pinch".
The fact that these charges are being brought up again indicates that they're trying to use us as a piggy bank who'll be compliant or risk the wrath of the public. People have made their minds up about us already and no amount of exoneration in any court,(kangaroo or otherwise) will alter the narrative.
I suspect the message from City now is, " throw as much shit as you want at us but we're not paying you for the privilege".
Thanks, very sensible

I wasn't aware of the rule change until Khaldoon mentioned in the club statement that there'd been a disagreement over the treatment of pre-June 2010 wages. I then went back and re-examined the FFP toolkit and found the change, which had a small but critical effect on our position.
Thanks PB, you have the brain the size of a small planet
