I've clicked on it twice, probably not worth giving the prick any more traffic. It's bollocks.
If you link to the Guardian please use DUMP the Guardian.

All you have to do is prefix theguardian with dump in the URL so the link would be https://www.dumptheguardian.com/foo...-need-for-ffp-efl-league-one-two-owners-wages that way the user goes to an archive on the web and the Guardian does not get your traffic. The Guardian has made itself the enemy of Manchester City so we should act accordingly.

Like some on here I used to think Conn knew what he was talking about but it's now clear that, like so many in the media, he's just another bluffer. He has certainly made some basic errors in his coverage of FFP and seems not to be aware of the full background to Bury FC's demise which most people in the Manchester business community know full well. Most of it can't be repeated on a public forum for legal reasons. Where's Conn based these days? Is he in London? That might explain why he is so out of touch with his subject matter.

Poor Villa could fail the PL FFP criteria if they don’t offset those losses in the next couple of seasons.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer set of fans.

That's including "massive promotion bonuses" and a £30 mill liability already covered by the new owners, right?

How do you mean, as they are clearly totally distinctive words, are you claiming specific is synonym to concrete or vice a versa in Serbian?
If you look up synoymns for both words neither is listed so it that's the case was he using very strange colloquial language?
That seems odd for a very educated 5 language speaker to do in front of international press whilst representing an International body. So I am maintaining the translation thing is bullshit and hes a lying twat.

Specific and concrete are pretty interchangeable in Balkan languages. I'd even say concrete is even more used. Specific is often used as some kind of special here, probably even more than specific in it's plain english meaning.

If UEFA, the EPL or the FA were really after a solution to this FFP farce, then they would have introduced regulations concerning the transfer of players based on the known values as measured by the selling club's players existing contract, the buying club's offered contract to those players and with a time element included based on how long those contracts have to run, plus a small percentage on top to compensate a selling club for undergoing the inconvenience of having to search for a replacement for the sold player. It would be easy for the authorities to monitor such a system and it should also take the heat, and the stupid prices of moderate players, out of the market. The authorities could also help by introducing a staged change to the squad system by reducing the number of imported players and raising the number of club developed players which would mean more opportunities for home grown kids, something that should be encouraged by all. A fat chance of all this though. TV companies want subscribers to be seeing the world's greatest players and not a bunch of academy youngsters and here we have the major obstacle to safeguarding the game. A pity that Celerin and his mates cannot get their heads around this.

Delany says our statement of denial is wrong because we are not accused of breaking FFP but of misleading investigators but our statement talk of financial irregularities the irregularities are how we are alleged to have mislead investigators and also we are accused of breaking FFP once you take out the irregularities. Can anyone make sense of what he says ?

It’s because UEFA know we have objectively done nothing wrong so are looking for something which is subjective and open to interpretation to accuse us of. A two year ban for that! They could say that every season if they won.

Too much personal criticism. The internet is like that and it produces a pretty much universal human response.

Block and ignore him.

Rabin etc, on twitter, like to argue with him but it's what he wants as the more people retweeting what he says and engaging with him the more free advertising his articles and views get.

Total bollocks
Bury failed precisely because the owner (who was a twat) didn’t have any money to put in

it has been proven that FFP on its current guise would have given a pass to Leeds and Portsmouth in the years leading up to their collapse.

Total bollocks
Surely you mean Avocado

Villa fans are happy about this, they say it's all under control and as long as they stay up then all will be great.
I hope the cnuts go down
