African nations will be the best at containing it. I just got back from West Africa yesterday and was chatting about it. They contained ebola effectively after all.
Lots about Africa will lend itself to containment. Lots of villages live in compounds, families live together and sustain eachother, there are militaries that dont take any shit, non democratic leaderships that impose the will they want. People dont move about as much as in western countries, and they are very effective at keeping their homes and themselves clean, due to the red dust that African villages and towns are built on and people live amongst, and the insects that can come into the house. It isnt third world in the way people think either. They have historically lived with managing disease in a way that other continents havent. It will spread everywhere but Africa wont be disproportionately affected
