COVID-19 — Coronavirus

The rumour mill has gone into overdrive here in the West of Ireland. 9 cases on the island of Ireland so far, with 6 in the Republic as it stands. Two in Dublin/the East, and 4 discovered in County Clare. Yesterday was a perfectly normal day, the 4 were discovered in Clare (we're the county above) and now there are handwashes everywhere, awareness posters, etc.

I actually agree with those measures but I have had the same text regarding three different workplaces, each "riddled" with coronavirus. Hardly anyone cared yesterday. It's great to be cautious and my hands have never been so clean - but fuck me, some people are absolutely tumescent for the drama of it all.

yep i am down with it,i went to wembley so got it on that trip,my health is not good so it has hit a bit hard,dr says stay at home,there must be loads not on the official numbers so in a way the updates are pretty useless

To clarify, you don’t know that you have the novel coronavirus, right?

You could have *a* coronavirus, of course, as most cause the common cold, but not *the* coronavirus currently being discussed.
