I’m not convinced it’s actually true but, if it is, it’s a completely different circumstance as this is two teams in the same competition, which is absolutely not allowed under EUFA rules.

Madrid and Chelsea were in for Alisson and the Roma pres is quoted saying the price is €78m. A month later he’s sold for €63m to a team who’s owner happens to be a business partner with Roma’s owner. Let’s say one of Mansour’s colleagues from AD owned Monaco...im guessing the press prob would have written a article or two questioning why City got such a great deal for Bernardo (who went for more tha Salah did later that summer btw even though Salah was coming off a 15 goal a year).
