Cites the national health institute.
Although it's Chinese data, this chart seems to match (from a first glance).

I'd listen to the advice of the chief medical officer and follow the advice. Looking at whats happening in other countries, I think it is reasonable to expect things will get worse, and the advice will change.so what you are suggesting I do, the people of the uk do and indeed the government
is not take the advice of the chief medical officer or the chief scientific officer in the uk on how to deal with the crisis.
NO . We should all be taking our advice from a financial advisor based in Dubai who posts on bluemoon.
Chief medical officer just been on breakfast news saying it’s safe to be in large gatherings ie Cheltenham whereas Italy, China etc is in lock down what the fuck!! mixed messages or what

I know someone with Ehlers Danlos, does that make me a BM expert? ;-)Great to know. I wonder if there are any experts in third world irrigation issues, bridge construction in oceans / seas or coping with Ehlers Danlos
We obviously have a completely different perspective. In my view it is meaningless to compare the number of deaths from COVID-19 to those who would die from cancer or other causes. I can confidently predict that in 120 years all 66 million people in the UK will be dead anyway. What we are talking about with COVID-19 is additional deaths - people who were it not for this new virus would not have died.
I'll throw you a bone and say let's suppose only an additional 55,000 people in the UK die from this, compared to normal flu. That is like dropping a bomb on the Etihad stadium and killing everyone in it and yet for some reason you seem to want to downplay this. To put this into perspective this is is circa 20 times more people than were killed in 911 and that's just in the UK. 200 times more then we killed at Lockerbie.
If this is not a terrifying prospect I do not know what is.
Yes there is but there's lots of accurate stuff too, it's just knowing where to look and who to trust, that's the skill.Lot of crap on the internet so I would trust medical experts first
Your risk of infection currently is if you put 70 million people in a room, what are you chances of bumping into 300 of those infected people?
The answer is 0.00042%.
It is almost guaranteed that not a single person who attends Cheltenham will have Coronavirus and even then that single person would have to sneeze on you.
Not winning the title due to cancellation of Prem would trump that one, rather easily I might add.
No you should probably listen to the CDC and WHO who don’t have a political dog in the fight.so what you are suggesting I do, the people of the uk do and indeed the government

Them winning the title in a empty stadium would be brilliant.
Cant be sure if just one player gets it where does it go league go from there? If like Italy it closes for a month how could we possibly make the games up?one can dream but never and rightly not gonna happen
Nah Kevin Horlock’s wand says everything will be ok so long as we get an April heatwave that lasts a month. It seems our government are adopting a carry on as normal mantra and hoping for the best. This report from a doctor in Italy is a stark warning we are just delaying the inevitable.

Our public health doctors don't have a 'dog in the fight' either. What no one is discussing is when you stop quarantine, once you have started? This virus could go on for months, it could be seasonal and be back in November/December, or it could disappear in the spring. As with the question I posed about Italy, assume we lock down the UK for 3 weeks, what next? Stop any travel in or out? Assuming not, what happens when someone travels in from a place that then declares it has virus a week later? Shutdown for 3 weeks again? If we don't time this right, we could be doing it in perpetuity. No you should probably listen to the CDC and WHO who don’t have a political dog in the fight.
Even then the U.K. governments own figure suggest millions could be infected.
Are there any figures that I’ve posted that you dispute? And I’m not in Dubai any more than you’re in Brussels.
